This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Vraiment trop petites portions.. ça faisait longtemps que je n'étais pas allé au Hobbit mais c'est la dernière fois. De telles portions à ce prix, c'est rire du monde.. en plus, aucune bouteille de vin en bas de 60$.. non décidément trop cher malgré la qualité de la nourriture. Désolée.

Malgré ma réservation & mes precisions nous fumes servis avec 1 heure d'attente. Nous comprenions l'achalandage mais nous fumes très déçus. Nous devions présider le conseil au centre des congres & nous l'avions précisé à l'arrivée & dans la réservation :(

Nous sommes des Français en vacances, nous avons choisi ce lieu pour dîner & l'expérience a été véritablement exceptionnelle. Tout était parfait, du vin à l'entrée, du plat aux desserts, jusqu'au délicieux pain brioché maison servi en début de repas, accompagné d'un beurre à la truffe aérien qui était un véritable régal. Cerise sur le gâteau, les prix étaient vraiment raisonnables, offrant un rapport qualité-prix imbattable.

Genuinely fantastic food. Definitely a place to come back to. Small menus but everything was fantastic. We had the pork hock pie & the keftas. Mixed lunch/brunch menu, with the soup du jour. Everything was top tier.
