The great story of a small bistro... Like a treasure buried in the heart of Faubourg St-Jean, a really well-kept secret ... the story of The Hobbit. This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Je n'ai jamais écris de review & n'en écrirai probablement jamais d'autre, mais nous sommes resté amer de cette première visite dans votre restaurant.

Charmant petit restaurant, bel accueil, nourriture impeccable (je vous donne 6/5 la gang en cuisine).

Par contre, là où on a été très déçu, ce fut au niveau du service offert par notre serveuse. Tout d'abord, la moitié du groupe (dont moi-même) sommes arrivé pil poil à l'heure mais avons décider d'attendre le reste du groupe avant de commander, sur quoi la serveuse nous fait une grosse grimace & nous regarde un d'un air bête. Dès que le reste du groupe arrive, elle nous presse de commander & nous "bouscule" toujours d'un air bête. Tout le long du repas elle semblait pressé qu'on parte & démontrait très peu d'entregent ou de manière, pour ne pas dire carrément offensante. Pourtant, nous avions réservé à l'avance & le restaurant était vide.

Je suis serveur moi-même, je sais qu'il arrive parfois qu'un service à une table peut être plus difficile & imparfait, mais ici il s'agit littéralement de la base: sourire, politesse & manières. Nous n'étions vraiment pas difficile!

(Nous étions le groupe de 6 dans assis au milieu de la petite salle juxtaposé salle)
