This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. L'acceuil, service & décor étaient 5 étoiles. Les entrées: le potage du jour 5 étoiles, entrée de burrata : il aurait été préférable que le burrata soit à la température pièce au lieu de trop froid 4 étoiles. Plats principaux (noté que tous les plats étaient très petits. Les gros mangeurs seront déçus: Aubergines rôties : beaucoup trop petit plat ce serait une entrée mais jamais un plat principal. Pour 26$ le végétarien était déçu dons désolant 1 étoile, pieuvres grillés : 1 morceau de plus aurait été apprécié 4 étoiles, poitrine de canard: cuisson parfaite, accompagnement limité, saveurs excellentes 5 étoiles, médaillon de veau: cuisson parfaite, accompagnement limité, 5 étoiles. Nos choix de vins proposés par le serveur : 5 étoiles. Nous avons mis 3 étoiles car les portions des plats principaux étaient beaucoup trop petite. Merci à toute l'équipe nous avons passés une très belle soirée.

Looks like they have weekly menus --> no chef specialty. My husband got the pho & it was the worst pho I've ever tried, not to mention it was $25. I got the veal carpaccio as a main & it was an appetizer at best. I've only heard good things about this restaurant but it was just okay. Wouldn't recommend

Can't recommend this place enough! I always forget just how amazing the food, service & atmosphere is, then am wow'd each time! A rare resto indeed. Would give more than five stars if possible.
