Our best meal in Ville de Quebec. The room is amazing & the service impeccable. Everything on the menu is focused on products from Quebec, from the food to the wine & drinks. Some things come from the restaurant's own garden. The wapiti (elk) main course was especially memorable. But arrive 15 minutes early to go through security & find your way to the middle of the building where the restaurant is.

Very good experience overall, & easily 5 stars once you are actually inside.

The setting is quite unique. The menu puts local Quebec products front & centre, everything we tried was very well prepared, & the value was surprisingly good considering the location & quality.

The only real issue was getting into the restaurant. We had to queue for about 45 minutes to go through the general Parliament security line, which was very slow & fairly clunky. I completely understand that security is necessary in a parliament building, but there is no dedicated line for restaurant guests & the only guidance we received was to arrive 15 minutes early. In our case, that was nowhere near enough.

It is a shame because the restaurant itself deserves full marks. A better arrival process, or at least much clearer instructions when booking, would make a significant difference.

What a cool experience hidden in the center of the parlement building. The dinning room was extremely elegant. The food was delicious & presented perfectly. The cocktails were amazing. The entire staff was very professional & the prices were absolutely reasonable.

We made a reservation & showed up a few minutes early & were shown a table right away. The staff were pleasant & felitous. The dining room has an upscale atmosphere in line with other areas of the parliament building. The food was presented in a colourful & artistic way & was very tasty. The experience was delightful.

Amazing lunch experience to pair with entry to the Quebec Parliament; a dining experience that definitely comes across as having old world charm & professionalism. Table service is efficient, knowledgeable, & professional. Between four of us we were able to taste a good sampling of the entire menu & we were all pleased with everything we ordered. Vegetables & herbs for the dishes are grown in a garden in front of the parliament building!

Where else in the world can you dine inside the seat of power?

Class & classic all rolled into one.

You get to walk the halls of politics before dining literally in the heart of the building.

Food is both tasty & well prepared, the staff friendly & very accommodating.

The wine pairings are local & delicious.

The dining room is opulence personified.

Totally worth a visit, but a word of warning, because it is the operating parliment you'll have to check in & bring photo id to get through airport style security, but fear not the staff & police are professional & efficient so there will be no drama getting in but there are a few extra steps compared to booking a normal restaurant.

We discovered this gem along with the other parliament tours of the library & legislative halls. The dining room is reminiscent of Greek architecture while being incredibly upscale. Having been to my fair share of corporate banquets around Europe, this experience exceeds those. We paid $50 for a 3-course tasting menu that would be priced at $80+ in any other restaurant. But combined with the atmosphere of being in a historic building that is still active & relevant today, the meal is presented with gravitas. This is unmissable for anyone visiting quebec city for the first time. I might come here every time I visit!
