Founded in 1978 by Jacques Fortier and Jean-Luc Boulay, Le Saint-Amour has become an iconic institution in Quebec City, embodying the influence of Quebec gastronomy. Offering haute French cuisine inspired by exceptional regional products, renowned chef Jean-Luc Boulay and his team combine traditional know-how and modern techniques to pay tribute to local producers and offer a gourmet, refined and unique gastronomic experience.

Le Saint-Amour is ranked among the top 10 favourite fine dining restaurants in Canada by travellers, according to TripAdvisor (2014, 2015, 2016 and 2020 Travellers' Choice Awards). Our wine cellar , housing over 15,000 carefully selected bottles, is also among the top 10 wine selections in Canada, with prestigious vintages from all over the world. Over the years, we have had the honour of welcoming renowned celebrities, such as Sir Paul McCartney, Sting, Alicia Keys, Johnny Hallyday, Charles Aznavour, and many others, who have chosen Le Saint-Amour during their stay in Quebec City.

Le Saint-Amour was awarded 4 stars by the prestigious Debeur Guide and was crowned Restaurant of the Year in 2011. This recognition is in addition to the many distinctions received by Chef Jean-Luc Boulay : Chevalier de l'Ordre national du Québec in 2024, the highest honorary distinction awarded by the Quebec government, Maître Cuisinier de France, Officier de l'Ordre du Mérite Agricole de France medal, Governor General of Canada's Award for the Arts of the Table, as well as the Prix Hommage Renaud-Cyr. Also recognized for his dedication to passing on his knowledge, Chef Boulay shares his passion with new generations, notably as a permanent judge on the show Les Chefs! , broadcast on Radio-Canada since 2010 and with 13 seasons to date.

Très déçus.
Cuisine ancienne, déséquilibrée.
Portions de viande généreuses mais pénurie de légumes ( 2 asperges & une petite portion de pomme de terre pilée).
Le dessert de saison venait avec ... 3 lamelles de fraise.
Dommage.

Excellent, tous les plats étaient extrêmement bien préparés & présentés. La qualité du service est remarquable. Nous étions cinq convives & tous ont adorés de la mise en bouche au dessert. On y retourne c'est certain

Oscille entre perfection & déception. Nos assiettes ont trop attendu sous l'infrarouge & les desserts manquaient d'équilibre malgré leur côté spectaculaire.

Service courtois, chaleureux & sans prétention. Menu varié. Carte des vins variée. Conseils du sommelier judicieux. De l'entrée au dessert, tout était sublime. Bravo à toute l'équipe, & merci pour ce moment délicieux.

encore une fois un excellent service de la brigade à Alexandre & Stuart.

La courtoisie & les petites attentions ont été très appréciées. Merci!

La nouvelle option de dessert avec la verveine de chocolat à part avec le gâteau, c'est une belle surprise ;-)
