Founded in 1978 by Jacques Fortier and Jean-Luc Boulay, Le Saint-Amour has become an iconic institution in Quebec City, embodying the influence of Quebec gastronomy. Offering haute French cuisine inspired by exceptional regional products, renowned chef Jean-Luc Boulay and his team combine traditional know-how and modern techniques to pay tribute to local producers and offer a gourmet, refined and unique gastronomic experience.

Le Saint-Amour is ranked among the top 10 favourite fine dining restaurants in Canada by travellers, according to TripAdvisor (2014, 2015, 2016 and 2020 Travellers' Choice Awards). Our wine cellar , housing over 15,000 carefully selected bottles, is also among the top 10 wine selections in Canada, with prestigious vintages from all over the world. Over the years, we have had the honour of welcoming renowned celebrities, such as Sir Paul McCartney, Sting, Alicia Keys, Johnny Hallyday, Charles Aznavour, and many others, who have chosen Le Saint-Amour during their stay in Quebec City.

Le Saint-Amour was awarded 4 stars by the prestigious Debeur Guide and was crowned Restaurant of the Year in 2011. This recognition is in addition to the many distinctions received by Chef Jean-Luc Boulay : Chevalier de l'Ordre national du Québec in 2024, the highest honorary distinction awarded by the Quebec government, Maître Cuisinier de France, Officier de l'Ordre du Mérite Agricole de France medal, Governor General of Canada's Award for the Arts of the Table, as well as the Prix Hommage Renaud-Cyr. Also recognized for his dedication to passing on his knowledge, Chef Boulay shares his passion with new generations, notably as a permanent judge on the show Les Chefs! , broadcast on Radio-Canada since 2010 and with 13 seasons to date.

Repas libre durant la fermeture de la COVID. Excellent repas, simple à préparer. Livraison dans les délais! Comme toujours, le St-Amours est dans les ligues majeures! Je le recommande fortement!

Un délice du début à la fin. Souper gastronomique à la maison, facile à préparer en suivant les indications. On recommande fortement. Le St Amour à domicile, c'est une merveilleuse expérience en attendant de pouvoir retourner sur place.

Un seul mot: Wow
Il s'agit d'un des meilleurs restaurants où nous ayons été manger. Le repas est impressionnant, débordant de saveur & que dire du service! Des gens passionnés & très chaleureux.
Je recommande à quiconque souhaite passer une soirée inoubliable.

Excellent repas & l'accord vin/met était parfait. Dispendieux, mais c'est à ça qu'il faut s'attendre pour un repas de la sorte. Je recommande!

A very fine meal .
The room is beautiful - a very nice ambiance.
The wine pairings were a great complement to the various courses.
The food was all very good . There was nothing that blew me away but everything was very enjoyable although perhaps too much duck (I do like duck - what could be better than a good foie gras). The three duck dishes were all good dishes - the foie gras was exceptional with great tastes to accent the richness of the dish. It is just that their were three duck tastings including the amuse bouche immediately followed by the foie gras. The duck breast was good.
The service was friendly . professional & accommodating . They were able to pair some very nice wines for my partner who didn't want the full pairings - a service that is very appreciated.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant & will go again if back in this beautiful city.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse soirée au Saint-Amour. Le repas découverte 7 services était plus que délicieux. Le personnel était très sympathique. Toutefois, nous avions parfois l'impression d'être pressée dans l'enchaînement des plats. Magnifique soirée, nous le recommandons à tous.

Super de belle expérience gastronomique à Québec. Ambiance chaleureuse, feutrée & que dire de l'excellent serveur Alexandre! Le festin servi à été au-delà de nos attentes. À recommander sans gêne. Merci à toute l'équipe .
