I had read the reviews online & I was excited to try the tasting menu. My date is NOT a foodie & he was nervous about being surprised by food, but I convinced him to give it a try. They accommodated our request for no seafood with no issues. The food was delectable! It was exactly what I had hoped for. Every dish was unique & had interesting combinations of flavors. We had the duck which we both typically don't like & my date said "this is to die for". My old fashioned was super delicious. My date had a peach perfect & he didn't fully enjoy it, but overall we had a great experience. It was probably the most expensive meal I've ever had, but for the experience & the fact that every ingredient came from Quebec, I feel like it was worth it.

Même après plusieurs visites dans le meilleur restaurant de Québec, la qualité du service & le raffinement dans les plats sont toujours au rendez-vous. Toujours un bel accueil chaleureux, le choix de notre table & l'atmosphère unique de ce restaurant très bien situé à l'entrée du Vieux-Port. Ma chérie & moi avons choisi la carte "dégustation" (environ 7-8 services) qui est absolument extraordinaire avec ses dizaines d'ingrédients différents dans chaque plat concocté par l'excellent jeune chef Elliot & sa brigade attentionnée. Une mention spéciale à notre serveur Maxime qui s'est assuré que l'on ne manque de rien & à la chef-pâtissière pour son audace dans la réalisation des 3 desserts. Encore merci toute la gang pour la magnifique soirée hier. Dommage que je suis limité à 5 étoiles, Légende par Tanière est dans une catégorie à part. Bravo Frédéric Laplante pour votre choix d'employés même en pénurie de main-d'oeuvres. On se revoit au printemps à l'ouverture de la Tanière3.

A fantastic meal showcasing local ingredients & original preparations. We never looked at the menu -- we just ordered the tasting menu & wine pairing. The smoked beet was a highlight of one of the most original meals we have enjoyed. The staff & service was stellar.

Un service très personnalisé. La qualité des ingredients est exceptionnelle. L'ambiance très bonne. Un seul commentaire pour améliorer l'experience: au menu degustation, il serait bien qu'il y ait un autre plat de presentation. En fait, un seul plat de viande. Je crois qu'un deuxième plat de viande serait très apprécié. Malgré cette critique constructive, je recommande fortement ce restaurant pour vivre une belle experience culinaire.

OUTSTANDING! We had the testing menu & loved every course. The drink menu was also extensive & the drinks we ordered were delicious. Very imaginative menu & beautiful presentation. We loved that all the ingredients were from Quebec. The timing of the serving of the courses was a bit inconsistent—sometimes not enough time between courses. But that was a minor thing. We would definitely come back!

So happy we went with the tasting menu (chefs creation) & wine pairings, The best food we had in Quebec & so great to accommodate my dairy allergy. Michele & Chris were incredible during our meals with serving & explaining each of the wine choices. We'll certainly be back & everyone should come here, it's amazing & all local ingredients

Magnificent cocktails, outstanding food, very friendly & accommodating staff. Legende is a must visit dining room in Quebec City. Laser-focused on local ingredient Nordic cuisine, the entire evening was enticing taste after taste, layered textures & flavours.

Enjoyed a fantastic tasting menu with wine pairing. Subtle, delicious flavours with freshest ingredients. Fun vibe with attentive waiters & sommelier- passionate & knowledgeable about their products- a great dining experience.
