We cannot say enough about Legende! From the moment we walked in, the service was spectacular: our heavy snow gear was packed away quickly; we were immediately seated at a cozy window seat, & the wine came promptly. From the amuse bouche through the final dessert the food was spectacular & the presentation beautiful. It felt hearty without being heavy; everything was perfectly seasoned, & even classic combinations like meat & potatoes were inventive. Our server, Allysson, was also a true highlight. She was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, & her bubbly personality added a level of fun throughout the meal especially given our french est tres mal. We hope her German shepherd occasionally reaps the benefits of her job! We highly recommend Legende to anyone looking to have one of the best meals in QC
Great restaurant! We did the tasting menu - it was fabulous. The service was fantastic & everything was well described. The wine list is very large! I would have liked a bit more choice/a few other items on the menu, but otherwise it was unbelievable! Would definitely recommend!
My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at Légende - in fact, I believe it was the finest restaurant meal I've ever had.
We ordered the tasting menu, with the Légende wine pairing. Though we've enjoyed a number of similar experiences in fine restaurants around, the world, the perfect preparations of each course & delicate nuances of the flavor combinations were truly exceptional. From the Nova Scotian salmon sashimi to a delicate roast sturgeon, the flavorful Québecois wagyu agnolotti to a stunning seared venison, topped off with a very subtle & delicious carrot-ginger dessert, every course was memorable - & not only complemented by the wine pairings, but consistently enhanced.
The pacing of the courses was unhurried, giving us plenty of time to savor each one - while the attentive service ensured we were never crowded or left waiting. Karine provided exceptional hospitality throughout the evening, complemented by servers very knowledgeable about each plate & accompanying wine flight.
This was an outstanding experience, suitable for the most discerning or the simplest of palates - everything was mouthwateringly delicious... we highly recommend!

It is a great place for special occasions. This was my second time. Quality of dishes are very good but very pricy. I loved every wines with different tastes & dishes.
Pleasant ambience, but banquettes uncomfortable. Friendly service, although had to ask for a bowl into which to discard shells, weren't told that the lamb was substituted with venison & refused to warm the focaccia. Very interesting taste combinations. Small portions: we left hungry & went back to the hotel & ate granola bars. Wine list is extensive, primarily French & pricey. The restaurant is extremely pricey! We each had an appetizer & a main, sharing one of the more economical bottles of wine. With tax & tip, the bill came to $255 for two. If we had indulged in the tasting menu with the lesser wine pairing, it would have been $440. Would I recommend? Perhaps. Would I return? Once was enough.
We arrived at Legende & were first impressed with the ambiance of the restaurant. We were led to our seats at the beautiful bar (we prefer bar seating as we like to be part of the action). The host, server(s) & sommelier were professional & you could feel their pride in the restaurant, in the food & respect for each other. They would not hesitate to answer a question or provide recommendations. We decided on the prix fix menu without wine pairings. We enjoy a drink usually before dinner & just asked the sommelier for recommendations during the service. The prix fix was truly amazing. Each dish seemed to get better than the one before & neither my husband nor I could name one we didn't care for. We wish it was not our last night in Quebec City & if we had known, we probably would have tried to go at least 2x on our visit. It was truly that sensational.
Excellent atmosphere & food. The wine steward was very enthusiastic & helped us select a wine that was perfect for our meal. We ordered ala carte & loved the oysters to start. I had lamb & hubby had the ravioli. We each had a dessert that we enjoyed. A fun & delicious experience!
Exquisite dinner! We did the tasting menu. A wonderful assortment of dishes prepared creatively with sublime results. We also did the wine paring which was a good match for the dishes. The service was friendly & excellent timing. All in all a wonderful experience.
