That was Mother & daughter's first trip in Quebec. We have only one free meal opportunity in our journey & we booked this Légende restaurant. We were the only east asian people in the late-time reservation. I'm not perfect for English & french but The services of the servers were perfect cause They tried to listen to me & explain me. I ordered a drink based on a white wine, they made with a red wine base drink. That was just small mistake. & I understand. Even thought I was impressed by the service that makes beverages not on the menu. if i must point out something that was lacking, I told server that the drinks seemed wrong, but she told me "I'll would check out". & then doesn't give me feedback anymore about that.

We were four & all did the tasting menu which was absolutely mouth watering from start to finish. Every entree was more amazing than the last! The wine & service were perfextly on point as well. Highly recommend this restaurant with its innovative cuisine. Attention to détail was spot on! Excellent use of the local terroir.

Superb. My wife & family enjoyed a great meal with wonderful cooking, great flavours & excellent service. We ordered 2-3 dishes each & shared 10 dishes between 4 of us which was just right. The staff served them two or three at a time starting with fish & seafood. We did not have matched wines.
Each dish was faultless & enjoyed by everyone. The best was probably the halibut. We ordered one of each of the three desserts which were equally excellent. With individual wine the meal came to about $450 which we felt was good value. We had a wonderful evening at Legende..

versed foodies. Whenever we travel, we make our dining experiences a priority. With SO MANY amazing restaurants to choose from in Quebec City, we chose Légende par la Tanière, based on reviews & the fact that all ingredients are locally sourced. Being Canadian that means a lot to us. My husband & I are lucky enough to have eaten at incredible restaurants all around the world, some Michelin Star, & some back-alley hidden gems..... Légende par la Tanière, was absolutely incredible! It was just as good or better as The meal we enjoyed at one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants . We enjoyed the 6 course tasting menu, & wine pairing ( I also suggest trying one of their Old Fashioneds- so good). It was truly a culinary journey starting at the IMPECCABLE service. From the moment we walked through the doors, to when we paid the check, the staff went over & above. Every course was artfully displayed on the plate, well explained by our servers, & delicious!!! I'm still thinking about the buffalo cheese, & honey butter/ bread course. My husband can't stop raving about the venison! We were celebrating our anniversary, & they gave us a complimentary dessert course with wine, which is unexpected but added so much to our experience. My husband & I can count on one hand our most memorable dining experiences, & this one just bumped a few down the list. Well done!

We run a French food & wine society for a state in the USA. We carefully researched fine dining online & from Quebec members of our group.
Lengende's name repeatedly came up.
This was very close to one of our Chaine dinners with multiple courses & wine paired by me.
Their Somm was knowledgeable & helpful.
I chose all Canadian VQA wines.
Their fresh farm to table cuisine matched their available wines very well.
They were not stingy with their proteins in there tasting menu. It was a great treat & a culinary delight for us. We highly recommend this dining experience.
