If you've been to a somewhat decent Italian restaurant before you'll realize just from reading the menu that the food will not be good. Cream sauce in a carbonara? Sausage sauce ? You can't search up a simple bolognese sauce? I had the penne arabiata, penne was over cooked & there was Kalamata olives & feta in it? We're at a Greek restaurant now? granted it said there was those items on the menu but still. & to top it all off they garnish the plate with a lemon? Why lol? But not all was bad service was quick got my drinks in a few minutes & the waitress was great & fast! Good choice of beers also

Food was outstanding. I had a fig & chorizo flat bread pizza; my wife ordered the Sapristi pasta (a kind of pesto dish); & our daughter had a seafood pasta. Started with a spinach & goat cheese salad that was fantastic. Had Canadian wine which wasn't as excellent as the food but good enough & we like trying local beers & wines. Cheesecake for dessert with cappucino made the meal very close to perfect. The service was outstanding too. The young man who waited on us was attentive but in a very casual way: terrific waiter. It was a perfect conclusion to our too-short (three days) stay in this beautiful city. A tip: Go early. We happened on Sapristi just about 5PM Friday evening & were able to get seated immediately without a reservation but we must have been the last people to be so lucky. In less than half an hour the place was packed & when we left there was a long line outside.

Lors de notre séjour à Québec, où nous sommes restés deux jours, nous avons dîné à cet endroit les deux soirs ! Malheureusement, nous étions souffrant. Mon épouse avait de la fièvre . Le personnel a été charmant & s'est plié à nos demandes avec courtoisie & sourire. Nous avons trouver l'endroit bruyant, mais quand on a mal à la tête c'est un peu normal, & c'est un peu partout comme cela au Canada. Ce que nous avons mangé, malgré le pauvre choix que nous avons fait était très bon. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet établissement Encore merci à vous pour votre compréhension & votre accueil chaleureux Odile & Frédéric
