Everything was amazing. Very very very good. For sure will visit again.
Highly recommend'Glazed duck leg & fresh pasta'
This is a tourist spot. Service was slow & service was poor. Really wanted a second glass of wine to enjoy the view but waiters could care less.
Amazing food & service! We were 2 adults & 2 kids… the kid poutin was great, we also had a duo tartare & everything was delicious
A favorite place to go when we visit each year. We have happened to see a lot of the sake staff who really put craftsmanship into what they do. Great atmosphere.
I had such an incredible dining experience at Bistro 1640 during my visit to Quebec City. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated & intentional. The ambience was absolutely top tier - warm, beautiful, elegant, & full of charm.
The food was excellent, the service was attentive & welcoming, & the overall atmosphere made the evening feel truly special. Every detail came together perfectly, & there honestly wasn't a single issue with the experience.
If I ever return to Quebec City, this will definitely be one of my first stops again. I would absolutely recommend Bistro 1640 to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in the city. Beautiful from beginning to end.
One of the best meals I've ever had. The fish & shrimp was delicious. The salad was fresh & crisp & the fish & shrimp were perfectly fried.
Very professional & welcoming staff:
We stopped for having light lunch (onion soup & poutine). Both were tasty & flavorful. Then had chocolate royal & sweet wine (from Quebec). Very nice way to end the meal.
