The restaurant overlooks the water so recommend getting a window or outdoor table weather permitting. We had the shrimp poutine to start & it lived up to the positive reviews with its creamy sauce not being overpowering or too mild. It went perfectly with the shrimps, black peppers & fries. We had the smoked salmon & shrimp sandwich & fish (cod) & chips as the mains & both were great with good serving sizes. Our waiter was very friendly & made sure we didn't want for anything. They have a fair bit of seating including on the patios outside but can see how it'd probably fill up fast in the busy season. They don't do reservations so factor that in when planning to eat here.
The seafood nachos at Brise Brise are a delightful twist on a classic favorite. The nachos are generously topped with a medley of fresh seafood, including succulent shrimp & tender crab. The combination of creamy cheese, tangy salsa, & perfectly seasoned seafood creates a harmonious blend of flavours & the salmon tart is a standout dish, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to quality ingredients & expert preparation. The tart features a buttery, flaky crust filled with a velvety mixture of smoked salmon & cream cheese, accented with fresh herbs. Overall, Brise Brise impresses with its creative & well-executed seafood dishes, making it a must-visit for seafood lovers.
I love sea food & the east coast of Canada does not disappoint! We started with a Seafood Nachos... yes SEAFOOD nachos. There was crab, shrimps, & lobster on top of the regular cheese nachos. We then had the Gaspian bouillabaisse, this is a Provençal fish soup with a tomato base. We of course had dessert: crème brûlée 🍮 & cheesecake.
A must stop for locals & tourists alike. Try the shrimp poutine for a local specialty.
