The café had a really unique atmosphere. I got a latte, & it was really good. The staff were also very nice & friendly. The only thing I wish they had was a gluten-free option. Overall, a lovely place to visit!

We've travelled all over Canada & tried A LOT of coffee along the way. As Europeans, we've been seriously missing a really good, properly made coffee, & we finally found it here!
The whole concept of Café Apotek is brilliant. The apothecary theme gives the place character, but it's not over the top or trying too hard. Everything is thoughtfully done, just enough.
The barista was incredibly kind & attentive, both when taking our order & when serving us.
& the coffee! Easily the best I've had in Canada. So many places have great beans, but that doesn't mean much if the coffee isn't made well. Both coffees we had here were absolutely perfect.
The cardamom bun was amazing, & everything else we tried was delicious too.
Honestly, good coffee is a perfectly valid reason to relocate, so I guess we're moving to Quebec City tomorrow. 😂

I want to gatekeep this place quite badly, but I can't ethically do that! A very peaceful coffee shop with a refined but minimalist interior which feels effortlessly luxurious. The coffee is excellent & the service friendly. They were also playing Handel when I was here in the early morning. I wish this was round the corner from my home so I could begin every day like this.

I never write reviews, but this cafe absolutely deserves a 5-star review. The cappuccino art was lovely, workers were friendly, atmosphere was exquisite, & bakery items were delicious.

Colazione piacevole nella parte bassa di Quebec City. Ambiente gradevole con pochi posti a sedere ma attenzione ai dettagli. Pan suisse e chocolatine superbi. Un buon banana bread. Bevande calde molto buone.
