Had brunch; we didn't stay at the hotel. It's obvious why the cafe is so popular. The vibe is great, the location superb, & the people watching is cool! Decent food, excellent coffee, & the lady servers are the best people ever.

Be ready for slow service but they are working very hard because it is so busy.

It is quite expensive for certain things - iced coffees for $7.25 is steep, but the coffee was very good.

Spent a lazy Sunday morning here with a couple friends last weekend & honestly it was exactly the kind of chill hangout we needed. The terrace out front is perfect for people-watching on Cartier, & we stayed way longer than planned just soaking it up. I had the eggs benedict & they were genuinely solid, not just okay-solid but actually good. If you're looking for a relaxed spot with good vibes & decent brunch food, Krieghoff delivers every time.

Cafe Krieghoff is an excellent place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. I had the traditional poutine & it was delectable. The cheese curds were real & the Demi-glaze brown gravy was very tasty. Service was expedient, but not too much. All the wait staff were friendly & most spoke English & French.

We had brunch at Kreighoff Café in Quebec City on Quebec Day, & it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed-perfect for celebrating the holiday. The service was friendly & attentive, & the staff made sure we felt right at home.

The coffee was rich & flavorful-exactly what you'd hope for to start a good brunch. The café offers both indoor seating & two terraces: one out front for people-watching & another out back for a quieter vibe.

We tried two brunch plates & both were outstanding. The Provençal omelet was savory & colorful, filled with sautéed tomatoes, garlic, onions, peppers, & zucchini. It came with home-fried potatoes that were crispy on the outside & tender on the inside, along with a slice of toast & a small portion of tangy red sauce.

The second dish was a cream cheese omelet, soft & smooth with fresh tomatoes & chives tucked inside. It was served with the same crispy potatoes & toast, plus a side of fresh fruit slices-cantaloupe & orange-for a bright, refreshing finish.

Highly recommended if you're in Quebec City & looking for a charming, satisfying brunch spot.

Le déjeuner était'correct' mais la portion était petite. Surtout tenant compte du prix très élevé, 28$ avec les taxes pour une assiette brunch, sans compter le pourboire. De plus je trouve que plusieurs éléments qui constituent normalement une assiette brunch ne s'y trouvaient pas, donc un peu cheap à ce niveau encore une fois pour le prix demandé. Le service était lui aussi correct mais sans plus. Ne faites pas l'erreur de commander un café spécialisé. Mon cappuccino était l'un des pires que j'ai bu dans ma vie. Plutôt décevant pour un endroit qui a le mot'café' dans le nom de son établissement.

Bref pour conclure je ne suis pas surpris que les 2 serveuses ne nous ont jamais demandé si tout était à notre goût même à la fin du repas. Elle semblait déjà savoir que la nourriture y est très ordinaire.

J'ai adoré ce lieu, je suis allé pour un brunch avec des amis. C'est un café très cute avec une belle ambiance, parfait entre amis ou avec une date. Le service était excellent. J'ai pris le sandwich Croque Madame & c'était un délice! Je recommande fortement cet endroit.
