On m'a chargé 30$ pour annuler une réservation alors que je souhaitais changer la date. J'ai pourtant contacté l'établissement à peine 1 minute après que ma réservation soit confirmée puisque j'ai réalisé l'erreur. Du vol pur & simple!!!!
Spent a lazy Sunday morning here with a couple friends last weekend & honestly it was exactly the kind of chill hangout we needed. The terrace out front is perfect for people-watching on Cartier, & we stayed way longer than planned just soaking it up. I had the eggs benedict & they were genuinely solid, not just okay-solid but actually good. If you're looking for a relaxed spot with good vibes & decent brunch food, Krieghoff delivers every time.
Stumbled into Café Krieghoff last Saturday with a few friends after wandering around Cartier Avenue, & honestly it felt like we found a little neighborhood gem. The terrace out front was buzzing with locals soaking up the afternoon sun, which set such a relaxed, unhurried vibe right away. I ordered the eggs Benedict & they were genuinely some of the best I've had, perfectly poached with a rich, buttery hollandaise that I'm still thinking about. The staff were warm & attentive without being overbearing, & the whole place just has this effortless charm that makes you want to linger over a second coffee.
Très très très bon restaurant, menu varié, bon rapport qualité prix , service rapide , personnel très sympathique. & en plein sud !!!!!!! Attention aux coups de soleil :) Je recommande vivement

Mon repas était bon, mais je ne me suis jamais sentie aussi escroquée par un établissement de toute ma vie. J'ai commandé deux oeufs bénédictines norvégiens (au saumon fumé) & imaginez-vous-donc que le prix (déjà très cher à mon avis) de 26,95$ n'inclut pas les oignons rouges NI les câpres. J'ai dû débourser 5,90$ pour qu'il y ait quelques câpres & quelques tranches d'oignons rouges sur mes oeufs. Ces ingrédients vont habituellement de pair avec le saumon fumé & ne sont pas considérés comme des extras nulle part ailleurs. Je comprends que le restaurant est situé dans un quartier riche, mais je trouve ça extrêmement abusif.
Nous avons déjeuné. C'était bon, mais tellement cher & petite quantité, à peine une petite poignée de patates... Service très lent. Avec le déjeuner, on a droit à un allongé (valeur de 5$ sur le menu). J'ai voulu prendre un cafe con leche (valeur de 5,75$ sur le menu). J'ai validé avec la serveuse avant de commandé qu'on me chargerait uniquement la différence.
Sur la facture, on me chargeait 2,95$... C'est beaucoup plus que la différence. J'ai essayé d'expliquer à la serveuse que ça ne faisait pas de sens, mais elle ne semblait pas vouloir comprendre. Ce resto est bien joli, mais c'est vraiment un attrape-touriste ! Nous habitons le quartier & nous n'y retournerons pas.
Au restaurant, nous sommes toujours bien reçus, Kathy & ses employés sont bienveillants pour tous leurs clients & particulièrement pour les personnes âgées. Bravo ! Ils en prennent bien soin.Tout est délicieux & l'emplacement est génial. Je suis une habituée de cet endroit. Je vous le recommande.
Déjeuner 28$ pour une omelette provençale qui ne goûtait rien avec mélange de tomates (type salsa acheté)a l'intérieur seulement. Quelques patates un morceau d'orange un peu sèche. Un morceau de cantaloup mou.

Joli petit hôtel pratique & confortable. Arrivée & départ autonomes fluides. Service personnalisé qui va bien au-delà de l'essentiel. Personnel gentil & agréable.
Bel endroit. Super service sympa. Nourriture excellente. La meilleure sauce hollandaise jamais goûtée wow! On goûte le beurre! Confiture maison je crois, super bonne!
Point négatif: Portion à la limite du cheap. Je payerais tellement un 3..4$ de plus pour des portions correctes/plus généreuse. Juste 16 petites patates dans mon assiette. Mon père, lui, a eu juste 1 petites tranches mince de jambon dans son oeuf bénédictine.
Je recommande, sauf pour ceux qui ont bien faim...
Had the duck poutine & French onion soup at the cafe & they were both great, especially the soup! Great service, cozy atmosphere, & cool artwork for sale as the table toppers.
