We really love the location of this little hotel the street is lined with delicious restaurants & cafes & a close walk to the plains of Abraham . If you're active you would love the walk to the city however it is a bit far . The food in the cafe Korea was delicious we had it for breakfast although it was not included in our hotel stay. The hotel room was nice however the bed sheets were pretty gross & need to be deeply cleaned . The dirty quilt was lined by two thin sheets & was pretty unpleasant to sleep in. Everything else was quite clean the bathroom was nice & clean & the main areas were clean & there is a shared mini fridge which was nice for our food especially when traveling with a kid.

Avons reçu la mauvaise commande & au moment de payer offre un rabais de 2$… Attitude hautaine & arrogante de la part de la gérante. Une chose est certaine je n'y retournerai certainement pas.

Stopped in for breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning & grabbed a table by the window, which turned out to be the perfect spot to watch Avenue Cartier wake up. The croque monsieur was excellent, & the coffee kept coming without me even having to ask. Staff were warm & patient even though my French is pretty rusty, switching to English without making it weird. Definitely the kind of neighborhood spot I wish we had back home in Ontario.

Stopped by for a quick bite after work & ended up staying way longer than planned, the vibe in there on a Tuesday night is so cozy with the low lighting & jazz playing softly in the background. We split the mushroom crepe & it was easily one of the best things I've eaten in Montcalm in a while, rich without being heavy. Our server remembered we were in a bit of a rush & got our order out fast without ever making it feel rushed on our end. Definitely coming back to grab a table on the little terrace next time the weather's nice.

Came for breakfast every morning we were in town. So many wonderful options. Big portions & so FRESH. Expresso comes with the meal & cappuccino was only $2.70 more. Highly recommend

My daughter & I always enjoy a'mother-daughter' date at the Krieghoff every time we visit our families in Québec City.
I used to go there from time to time when I was a young adult many years ago!
The place has retained its charm & ambiance!
I love the art for sale paintings placed under a glass cover at each table!
I particularly enjoy the garden salad & the'frites allumettes'!
The staff is always very professional & courteous!
The Café Krieghoff will see me & my daughter again many times!

Je fréquente ce café depuis plus de 20 ans & ce n'est plus ce que c'était. L'assiette déjeuner était décevante, & j'ai aussi vu la déception dans le regard de la personne à côté lorsque son assiette est arrivée. Le seul point positif de cet endroit est son emplacement.

Le temps s'écoule doucement dans ce restaurant, la morue de mon Fish & Chips doit arriver par canoë de la mer. Plus d'une heure d'attente & tout autour les autres clients arrivent, mangent & repartent... & vous attendez dans le bruit. Quand celui-ci arriva, c'était correct mais je ne crois pas que cela valait l'attente ! & aucunes excuses & gestes commercials de la serveuse quand la note arriva...
