Cafe Krieghoff is an excellent place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. I had the traditional poutine & it was delectable. The cheese curds were real & the Demi-glaze brown gravy was very tasty. Service was expedient, but not too much. All the wait staff were friendly & most spoke English & French.

Super expérience central & sans bruit. Bémol pour notre chambre: la climatisation a un affichage lumineux donc pour ceux qui ont besoin de clim & d'être dans le noir pour dormir cela n'est pas l'idéal; luminosité d'une nuit de pleine lune & impossible à couvrir car en hauteur. Le lit était aussi trop dur pour moi.
Par contre propreté parfaite, salle de bain merveilleuse & service excellent!!! Forfait petit déjeuner idéal & localisation centrale sans bruit & à distance de marche raisonnable du Vieux Québec.

We had lunch here & found it to be great. I had the smoked salmon poké bowl & hubby had the smoked meat sandwich. They were both excellent.
Service was good & prices reasonable.
Highly recommend.

Experience Déjeuner très décevante. Nourriture correcte, sans plus. Service carrément désagréable. Serveuse froide (qui revenait de vacances), expéditive & impatiente. Pas de sourire sauf pour son vieux client habitué à côté de nous. Sèche dans sa façon de nous parler, mais pourquoi? On était tout contents d'aller déjeuner à ce resto pendant notre semaine de vacances, on était de bonne humeur. J'aurais bien aimé avoir un 2e café mais elle n'est jamais repassée pendant le repas, même si on était juste devant le bar. Une fois les assiettes terminées elle nous lance'autre chose?!' & comme on doit quitter je dis non merci & elle met la facture qu'elle avait dans la main sur la table. WOW par chance qu'on ne voulait pas autre chose?
Bref, on y retournera pas.
Toutefois le décor & l'ambiance du resto est superbe. Quel dommage!

Solo fui allí para desayunar. La atención es excelente. Probé un omelette con champinones, jamón y pan Francés (baguette). La ambientación musical es muy agradable, baladas de los 70's.
