Fantastic. After you're done stuffing your face with maple-smoked, coffee-rubbed meat, you'll be lucky if you can muster a'tabarnak!'

You can't go wrong with your order, everything we tried was made with care & quality ingredients. The beef ribs were our favourite. The dark chocolate crème brûlée with marshmallows sounded suspicious, but turned out to be a highlight.

The bloke behind the bar with the compelling moustache provided exceptional service. Truly above & beyond.

Do not let the facade of this establishment fool you. Inside is an intimately lit room with a small bar off to the corner. Penelope & Gabriel were wonderful hosts & a wealth of knowledge on mixology. I honestly put a lot of the knowledge they were unloading on me into my back pocket. Their expertise in their craft is a marvel to watch & an absolute pleasure to talk to.

For dinner, I chose the St Louis ribs paired with Cheval Blanc. The maple syrup & red ale glaze were amazing. The meat fell off the bone as it should.

For dessert, carrot cake with an espresso martini as recommended by Gabriel. Sweet & savory & a lot bigger than I expected, half of it definitely came home with me.

Overall, 11/10 for the simple fact that every turn, I was blown away by everything. My next visit will definitely have this in the plans. Thank you!

Wow! Je mets 10/5 tellement c'est une belle & bonne place! La patate douce est ma nouvelle définition du bonheur! Le personnel (Gabriel au bar & les serveurs (euses) sont super! Mon nouveau spot quand je viens travailler à Québec.

Nous sommes venus à l'improviste une soirée lors de notre séjour à Québec. D'une part, on a compté sur un service in-cro-ya-ble de notre barman Gabriel. D'autres parts, la nourriture était sensationnelle. Je le recommande fortement!

Agréablement surprise du style d'endroit! Rustique, feutré & festif. Sommes toute petit, mais très bien aménagé. Nous avons une place au bar & ça nous convenait. L'accueil est très amical & le staff friendly. Le service rapide & les verres ne restent jamais vide! La bouffe est tout simple excellente. Mes coups de coeur : turf & turf & Mac & cheese. Belle carte de vins & de drinks. Qualité prix A1. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.

Within minutes of opening, all the tables are taken. Was fortunate to grab a seat at the bar. & this is on a week night after a long weekend. If that doesn't suggest how wonderful a spot this is, you need to experience it! The food, wow! Had the BBQ combo Texas bbq with a French Canadian twist. The sweet potato side was something special. Topped with whipped marcapone, black truffle, smoked bacon & arugula. Oh & Nick at the bar was a delight to speak with. Was a help explaining the menu & a great host 1000% will be back!
