About

Located in the premises of a former pizzeria, the establishment is in fact a trailer that has undergone multiple expansions over time. Renovated with barn wood in the 70s, the building has now a bewitching decor reminiscent of a rustic cabin where you feel GOOD. It is in this context that chef Vincent Chatigny introduces you to his cuisine strongly inspired by the BBQ culture of the southern United States, showcasing local products prepared with respect and authenticity, in a meaningful heritage atmosphere.

Typically antique chairs, mismatched dishes, country music, original wine list, microbrewery beers and a large selection of North American whiskeys the 1000 lb Texan artisanal smoker using maple wood. The values ​​that embody the soul of the restaurant: Tradition and wide open spaces, theater of the foundations of the America of our grandparents.

Omg! Everything! The sampler sharing menu! The brisket, the ribs, the duck, the Mac & cheese, the sweet potatoes, the seafood hush puppies, & OMG, the pork rinds - the very best I have ever had, & I'm a southerner from the US & know what pork rinds should taste like. The maple, red ale beer sauce that coated the pork rinds is to die for. The entire sampler sharing menu is out of this world, Southern US inspired, damn good! I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about this place. The carrot cake is sooo good. It was our favorite over the lemon tart pie. The shot of bourbon with the bacon was a very nice surprise & added touch.

The atmosphere is super fun & great. The servers & wait staff are also super fun, tentative, & happy to share all the deliciousness with their customers.

If you don't eat meat, this place is not for you! Meat eaters, meat, & BBQ lovers, this place is chef's kiss 💋.

Everything BBQ! Salad lovers & vegetarians will not be happy here. I'll recommend the mix sharable plate. They will bring you a lot of different meats & stuff to try. We were 4 people who like to eat, & there were leftovers. Don't judge the restaurant by its cover, front the outside it looks like a shack, but from the inside it's great!!

What I loved about this place, beyond the food, which is amazing, was that the chef clearly took a style - American BBQ - & let himself be influenced by local, Québec ingredients. It could be described as a whole new category of American BBQ, in the same vein as Texas or South Carolina BBQ. I recommend the Turf & Turf with bouzoukis on the side. Not for the feint of heart but absolutely fantastic.

La qualité de la viande & du fumage est digne des bon endroits de BBQ au USA. Seule bémol nous aurions aimé pouvoir goûter au short ribs de boeuf étant donné que nous étions tôt à 17h30 un mardi... Le serveur nous a informé qu'elle était seulement disponible le vendredi & samedi... dommage. Vous devriez peut-être le mentionner sur le menu ou l'enlever tout simplement. Mais sinon tout était sur la coche comme on dit!

The flavours are amazing. What a neat, hole in the wall BBQ shack outside the city. It was perfectly close to where we happened to be staying. I ordered three sides because I needed to get my veggies in. The duck falafel starter was delicious. The whole family loved everything we ordered. The service was friendly, joyful, & excellent.
