About

Located in the premises of a former pizzeria, the establishment is in fact a trailer that has undergone multiple expansions over time. Renovated with barn wood in the 70s, the building has now a bewitching decor reminiscent of a rustic cabin where you feel GOOD. It is in this context that chef Vincent Chatigny introduces you to his cuisine strongly inspired by the BBQ culture of the southern United States, showcasing local products prepared with respect and authenticity, in a meaningful heritage atmosphere.

Typically antique chairs, mismatched dishes, country music, original wine list, microbrewery beers and a large selection of North American whiskeys the 1000 lb Texan artisanal smoker using maple wood. The values ​​that embody the soul of the restaurant: Tradition and wide open spaces, theater of the foundations of the America of our grandparents.

One of the best meals I've ever had. It's a southern BBQ & French fusion restaurant which in itself is a rare combo but they make it work. Staff are extremely friendly knowledgeable & approachable. They take the time to go through the menu with you dish by dish & explain each item in detail. You never need to ask twice or even ask for most things as they are constantly paying attention to whatever you may need. I had the Bicep Ceasar which was probably the best Ceasar I've ever had. It came with bourbon & fresh bacon on top & was amazing. I also had the fois gras, brisket, duck pastrami & Mac & cheese. Everything was amazing. The brisket was juicy & tender with great flavor & that & the fois gras just melted in your mouth. The duck pastrami was something so unique I knew I had to try it. It was tender juicy & filled with so much flavor. But the Mac & cheese might of been the best I've ever had. It was rich creamy with OKA cheese & duck, full of flavor & everything Mac & cheese should be & more. Ive spent a good amount of time in in south at BBQ restaurants but none of it came close to what they have here. 5/5 easy anytime I come back to Quebec city I'll be making a reservation here. Just gotta make sure I book weeks in advance because this place fills up quick but rightfully so.

Superbe restaurant! Nourriture de qualité & service sympathique. Le tout dans une ambiance décontractée, ce qui rend l'expérience très agréable ! Nous avons prit le menu dégustation & en avons définitivement eu pour notre argent.

Excellent food & ambiance! My partner got the heritage combo & enjoyed everything (brisket, ribs & a sausage). I'm a vegetarian & they made me a wonderful custom plate of grilled asparagus with hollandaise & their sweet potato with mascarpone, minus the bacon but with poached eggs on top. Loved everything.

Un restaurant à la bonne franquette où il vaut mieux aller en famille ou avec des amis assez proches, car tout est à partager dans le menu à 80. Des bonnes pièces de viandes, des oreilles de christ, du mac'n'cheese, du bacon, du bacon & du bacon. Même les desserts sont servis entiers & on pige dedans. Tout était bon. Une expérience différente qui vaut la peine d'être vécue.

Within minutes of opening, all the tables are taken. Was fortunate to grab a seat at the bar. & this is on a week night after a long weekend. If that doesn't suggest how wonderful a spot this is, you need to experience it! The food, wow! Had the BBQ combo Texas bbq with a French Canadian twist. The sweet potato side was something special. Topped with whipped marcapone, black truffle, smoked bacon & arugula. Oh & Nick at the bar was a delight to speak with. Was a help explaining the menu & a great host 1000% will be back!
