J'ai mangé ce soir dans ce restaurant & j'ai beaucoup aimé.
J'ai commandé le burger'La Bête' : il était vraiment excellent ! Un mélange de saveurs parfaitement équilibré qui mérite d'être salué. Les frites étaient délicieuses, bien croustillantes, & le menu offre un large choix de sauces pour les accompagner.
Seul petit point d'amélioration : j'aurais aimé avoir un peu plus de sauce, la quantité servie étant un peu juste par rapport à la portion de frites.
Concernant les plats végétariens & véganes, je tiens à souligner la variété & la qualité des options proposées. Dans chaque section du menu, il y a des plats spécialement conçus pour les végétariens & les véganes, clairement identifiés grâce à un pictogramme en forme de feuille. Certains burgers peuvent même être adaptés avec une alternative sans viande.
J'étais accompagné d'une amie végétarienne qui a adoré son plat.
Pour la boisson, j'ai pris une sangria blanche au litchi : vraiment excellente, fraîche & bien réalisée, je recommande !
En dessert, j'ai choisi une sorte de gâteau'Chocolat Dubaï' (si je me souviens bien). C'était surprenant & très bon, si vous aimez les KitKat, le goût s'en rapproche un peu.
Notre serveuse a été très sympathique, souriante & aimable : c'était top !
Je ne prends pas en compte la rapidité du service dans ma note, car ce soir-là, nous avons attendu environ 40 minutes pour nos plats. La situation semblait exceptionnelle : une grande tablée d'une vingtaine ou trentaine de personnes fêtait un anniversaire, ce qui a visiblement ralenti le service.
J'aurais simplement apprécié qu'on nous prévienne d'un léger ralentissement, afin de mieux gérer l'attente… nous avons eu un peu l'impression d'être délaissés au profit du grand groupe.
Dans l'ensemble, je recommande vivement ce restaurant. Il réussit à merveille à concilier les envies d'un.e amateur.trice de burgers avec celles d'une personne végétarienne ou végane, sans que personne ne manque de choix ni de plaisir.
& ça c'est vraiment génial !
Les serveurs & le propriétaire sont des passionnés, très sympathiques & ils font un excellent boulot! Parlez-leur de la carte cocktail & de leurs créations. La nourriture aussi est excellente. N'hésitez pas à essayer les nombreuses options véganes; elles sont toutes généreuses & succulentes 🍔🥗Même les soirs de semaine, l'ambiance est au rendez-vous.
Malheureusement, ce n'est pas mon opinion. Ce fut une expérience très désagréable pour moi et mes amis. Le gérant du restaurant est un jeune baveux agressif qui n'a aucune classe, aucun savoir vivre.

I ordered from Chez Victor for delivery to a hotel I was staying at. The menu looked really interesting, with so many vegetarian & vegan options. I ordered the tofu'popcorn', & the hazelnut & spinach burger with a green salad as the side. The food was slow to arrive, thanks to the insane highway construction near the hotel. The tofu popcorn was yummy, though maybe a little dry, with two dipping sauces to mitigate that. The burger was delicious, an interesting & satisfying take on the veggie burger. The green salad was a disaster. I would swear they got some of the greens out of the compost bin, because it had little shavings that looked like turnip peel or something. The greens were wilted & not fresh at all. Adding insult to injury, the takeout bag had no napkins or cutlery. Maybe i was supposed to add them to my cart - if so, it was not evident at checkout. There I was in a hotel room with no way to eat the salad, which in the end wasn't such a letdown because the salad was terrible. I would go to Chez Victor again, but I would not order a salad, & if I get delivery I will definitely request cutlery.
The entrées we ordered were fine but the cheese curds in my husband's poutine tasted spoiled & like they'd gone bad. We went for Valentine's Day & as there were vegan options thought it'd be a great spot to accommodate the both of us as my partner eats meat & I don't. I was thoroughly disappointed in my burger as the ingredients had sogged through the bread & I ended up eating a wet burger. I have never stepped foot in this establishment again. Bummer since it's so well situated & I would've gladly been a returning customer had the quality just been on par...
They have a few vegan options, including a vegan poutine with the Vegcheese brand ! Really good ! They also made a vegan salad for my bf with vege pâté & vegan dressing
The waiters there are really sweet & the atmosphere is good. It's a little bit cold, though. The drinks we ordered were really good. I can recommend the homemade limo. But we weren't fans of the burgers. The season of the vegan as well as the beef burger were a bit off. It was really bitter, & the buns were not toaster. Even though I ordered a vegetarian burger, they put bacon on my salad, which was really disappointing.
