Another one of our Breton specialties is our extensive range of ciders. You can taste ones that come directly from Brittany or discover products from Quebec. Various beverages are also offered, such as coffee, beers, and wines.
Le Billig is widely celebrated for its exceptional variety of sweet and savory crepes, featuring creative ingredient combinations and high-quality buckwheat batter that provides a perfect texture. The atmosphere is consistently described as warm, stylish, and inviting, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal or watch a game. While the popularity of the restaurant can lead to busy periods and occasional wait times, the service is generally praised for being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, with staff often going above and beyond to provide excellent recommendations and ensure a memorable dining experience.
The waiters here are very friendly, but it's also a very French experience 😉 just relax & wait for them to come to you!
Overall, I really love the crepes here. They use buckwheat, which gives them a fantastic chewy texture & a grain aroma. The menu has a wide variety of options, so you can't go wrong picking whatever catches your eye!
Looking for great crepes, this is the place. From salmon to basic ham & eggs. The buckwheat crepes were well-done. The sweet crepes are addictive. I loved it
The best crepes I've ever had. The menu is creative & unlike anything I've tried before. We ordered the Béarn (duck confit, goat cheese, onion confit, & spinach) & the Merguez (homemade pork sausage with merguez spices, tahini, vegetables, & harissa-seasoned tomato sauce). Both were absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with flavors, & all the ingredients were perfectly balanced. No ingredient overpowered the others. The service was also friendly, & attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Quebec City!
The restaurant was absolutely packed, but the server was so attentive. He took my name & let me know it would be a 30-minute wait for a table of 5. At first, when he said'If I put your name down, you have to come back,' I thought he was being a bit blunt, but I decided to give it a shot since I really wanted to try this place.
To my surprise, 30 minutes later, he not only had our table ready but actually remembered my name! I was so impressed. On top of the great service, the food quality was amazing. He recommended two desserts, & they were both phenomenal. Highly recommend this place, & I will definitely be back next time I'm in Quebec!
