Wasn't expecting such savory crepes on the menu..French onion soup is seasonal so not always an option..apps were superb..bit of a wait as well but worth it if you have time.
We had a veggie crepe & a salmon one, both are super delicious & freshly made. They offered really welcome service & everything is so nice & comfy here! I would recommend it if you want to try something French.

This is a great crepe place. It was recommended to us by a local & we have gone every time we have visited Quebec City. Our server did a great job of recommending a local cider we would enjoy based on the crepes we ordered.
Got the egg Benedict crepe with duck confit. I went to another crepe restaurant the other day, & i can say this one was easily one of the most memorable meals i had during my time in Quebec.
As a huge fan of Benedict eggs, i knew i had to visit here to try this out. The crepe indeed was fire & didn't let me down!
The texture of their crepe was crunchy on the edge & chewy in the center, & you can taste the light buckwheat taste that pops up while chewing it.
The Benedict eggs were delicious with their hollandaise sauce, perfectly balanced & paired well with the flavorful duck confit.
The portion is good for one, not too heavy & just right as a brunch meal. Every parts & ingredients of the dish worked out perfectly!! The side salad also tasted nice, with fresh veggies & leaves.
Would 100% recommend all the crepe lovers to pay here a visit! Just a heads up, they will get quite busy during lunch time around 12; i walked in around 11:30 & there started to have a queue at 12. It might be better to come a bit earlier or later to avoid the wait. But trust me, the crepe won't disappoint you 😌
Le Billig was a pleasant surprise of a find when we were in Quebec City. Sure, they offer all the crowd pleasing crepe menu items but it is their house special crepes that really shine. I ordered the'La Bearn' crepe (forgive my incorrect French). The buckwheat crepe was cooked to perfection--slightly crispy on the outside & chewy on the inside. Wrapped inside the crepe, the ingredients had their jam session. The mild & stringy goat cheese contrasted with the fresh crispy baby spinach. The duck confit & the onion confit created a savory & sweet combination. It was a delight. My husband ordered the'La Galette Saucisse'. The homemade sausage was delicious & the sauce added another layer of complex flavor. We asked the waiter to suggest a cider. He suggested his favorite, which was a very aromatic & flavorful cider, & not even among the more expensive items on their beverage list. Aside from good food & drinks, Le Billig has good people, who care about quality & taking care of customers. It is a down home causal place where we can relax & enjoy a meal, no need to worry about breaking a bank or dressing up. If we had discovered it earlier in our trip, we will go back again & again to try their different dishes. I guess it is one of the reasons to visit Quebec City again.
We came here 2 days in a row while in Quebec City. Alexander was our waiter both days & was excellent with recommendations & attentiveness despite them being very busy. We really enjoyed the duck with goat cheese, spinach & caramelized onion crepe as well as the hazelnut & chocolate dessert crepe. Highly recommend if you love crepes!
I would hate to see this place go down down because of service. My partner loved the duck crepe but I wasn't able to enjoy eating with him because they messed up my order twice. Not sure if it's a language issue but for me to say three times that I'm vegetarian & I still keep getting ham on my plate was unacceptable. The service was completely unprofessional from start to finish. This was one of the recommended local favorites that I wanted to try & in all honesty the smuggest service i ever encountered in Quebec. Seeing the others low rated reviews I realize it's not a one off thing.
