Excellent food. Wonderful service. Our server was kind enough to help the kids when they were practicing their French, very encouraging. Those of us in the party without French were grateful for the excellent service in English.
The crepes were amazing. I got a savory & a dessert & both were delicious. The waiter (not sure if he was the owner) Claude was fantastic. He talked to us for a while & was very friendly & gave great tips of the city. They spoke great English. The building is a cute city treasure. You get authentic French crepes with flare. Would highly recommend!

Walked pass this & went in for a try. Service was not fantastic. We went in asking for a table. The waiter looked grouchy & hesitated for two minutes before showing us of a table at the doorway. He told us they are full for the day. The next ten minutes passed with at least four groups of people without reservation & they were free to choose any table they liked. Perhaps we are Asians who did not speak French. Not fantastic experience. Crepe was average, not crunchy enough & taste was not even with parts salty & parts flat. Not great.
Really delicious! The man helping us was super knowledgeable & funny. We learned about France & where the crepe my husband ordered came from. He spoke lovely English & was patient with our poor French. The crepes are HUGE & extremely filling! I got the duck crepe & it was wonderful & came with the yummiest caramalized onions, they must start those at the beginning of the day because they are tender & sweet & perfectly suit the duck. It was a very rich crepe, I also recommend the ice tea because it was refreshing between the bites. My husband had the lettuce crepe & the mushrooms were really good as well but I preferred the duck one.
The waiters here are very friendly, but it's also a very French experience 😉 just relax & wait for them to come to you!
Overall, I really love the crepes here. They use buckwheat, which gives them a fantastic chewy texture & a grain aroma. The menu has a wide variety of options, so you can't go wrong picking whatever catches your eye!
Walking around old Quebec city & we ventured down Rue St Jean. Traditional French bistro food is an understatement, this place was exceptional. Our waiter made awesome recommendations & we ate everything on the plate. Love this place & the comedic waiter.
The atmosphere, food & staff were amazing. My server was very kind & patient with me while I practiced my French. I had a vegetarian crepe & a latte; both were so good!
Le Billig was one of our favourite dining experiences in Quebec City. The customer service was exceptional, especially from the young French gentleman who took care of us. I unfortunately forgot his name, but he was incredibly warm, hospitable, & welcoming. We actually ended up returning a second time during our visit because of how great the experience was.
The crêpes were absolutely delicious, especially the scallop crêpe made with locally sourced U10 scallops. Even now that I'm back in Toronto, I still find myself craving that dish. Everything tasted fresh, well balanced, & thoughtfully prepared.
This place gets very busy during peak hours, so I highly recommend making reservations in advance. Definitely a must visit when in Quebec City.
We were a party of four, & we really enjoyed our brunch as well. We ordered the Sucrée wraps & Eggs Benedict, & everything was excellent. Those guys are awesome!
Clod, our server, was kind, nice, sweet, & very friendly. We talked a lot about French cuisine, Québec City, & more. I highly recommend this place!
