We came here because our son's french immersion trip was at this Cabane. We at first came to buy souvenirs but ended up having the cabane a sucre dinner experience.
The food was ok, nothing too exciting, but nor was it bad. The service was ok. The 2 staff looked tired & seemed hard for them to keep up with 5-6 tables.
The music was upbeat & dancing was fun for those who participated.
The maple taffy at the end was fun!
Be prepared to sit in tables of 10. Therefore, if your group is less than 10, you'll be sat with others. So prepared to bring your extroverted self! : )
Cost was just under $50 (taxes & tip included) per person (I think 13 & up is adult fare). It was a bit pricey for the food quality (we had better Quebecois-fare at La Buche), but great to have exeperienced!

Les plats sont bons & le personnel sympathique.
Pour le reste, c'est beaucoup moins bien.
Le nombre de personne par table est trop important. Nous sommes vraiment serrés & de ce fait, on ne profite pas du moment.
Un seul plat apporté pour une grande tablée, ça fait que lorsque nous sommes placés en dernier, il n'y a plus rien dans le plat. Certes on peut en demander mais ça mérite au moins 2 plats par table.
Idem, seulement une petite bouteille de sirop d'érable sur la table alors que l'on vient quand même pour ça, c'est très limite.
On a l'impression que le but c'est juste de faire du profit & c'est vraiment dommage.
Pour le prix affiché, le service proposé devrait être mieux & on ne devrait pas se sentir gêné ou restreint pour un repas à volonté. De plus lors de la réservation on nous impose un pourcentage pour le pourboire. Du jamais vu !
C'est dommage. Nous avons essayé & nous ne reviendrons pas

Un super moment passer avec nos amis . Un lieu incontournable a faire en venant à Québec . On sait régaler , une ambiance de folie , un service super . Le personnel est extra & la cuisine une tuerie je recommande +++++. En complément la tir d'érable & une boutique super avec comment on fabrique le sucre d'érable . Vraiment un super moment
