La Buche is a must-visit in Quebec City! Great food, a fun atmosphere, & a unique dining experience that captures the spirit of Quebec. Highly recommended!
Highly recommend the trout crepe! I had it a few years ago (or maybe it was salmon crepe last time?) & it tastes just as amazing as I remember. The patio is quite hot & the inside didn't have AC either. Food came a bit slow. Very interesting music in the background.
Excellent experience at La Buche! Very accommodating since we brought our dog. The Foie gras, shepherd pie, & poor man's pudding were memorable. Highly recommended!
An excellent restaurant that reinterprets local cuisine with creativity while mantaining its roots.
The pâté chinois & the mixed plate inspired by traditional cabane à sucre dishes were outstanding.
Great attention to detail throughout. For example, instead of paper towels in the restroom, they provide real hand towels, a thoughtful touch that reflects the care they put into every aspect of the dining experience. Highly recommended.
A truly wonderful experience from start to finish! The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was warm & inviting, & the authentic Québécois décor & music made the experience feel incredibly special. Every dish was delicious, & our server was both kind & entertaining, adding to the overall charm of the evening. If you're looking for a genuine traditional Québécois dining experience, this is the place. I highly recommend it!
An interesting to dine & have a drink in what can be described as a truly Quebecois experienece The atmosphere of the folks there in a very well decorated interior if one can say in that it is a bit like a cabane a sucre or sugar shack There is plenty to eat & the staff are super friendly Highly recommended if you are in Quebec City Worth a visit !!!!
We attended La Buche for Sunday brunch & we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent, the staff were pleasant & attentive, & the atmosphere was lively & fun. We would highly recommend it!
I was skeptical that this might be a tourist trap, especially since it's located in the heart of old town of Quebec & has way too many reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend the breakfast poutine. Im not a poutine person but very much enjoyed it. Also visit the washroom lol it's very cool.
