Un bar à neige vraiment long pour se bourrer à face de tire d’érable à l’année, une table privée direct dans cuisine, un aquarium à neige, des tables à pique-nique, des musiciens dans place... Bref, une maudite belle virée à Québec que vous pouvez pas manquer!

Liked the complimentary starter of pork rink, unique combination of salty & sweet caramel. Didn't really like the recommended signature Pate Chinois that I ordered, the red wine braised beef was so dried. Wish I would have ordered some other dish. Ordered draft whitbier too but nothing fancy it was quite watery. For such a highly rated restaurant I would expect more. Service is good with smile but the restaurant quite small so it's a bit smoky for me when it's crowded, & there's no place to hang our jackets so it can be a bit stuffy to be around, also the place i sat was too dim of light.
The dinner was delicious, & the service was impeccable. The food was traditional & of good quality, which is to be expected in Quebec. I dined with a group of friends, & we all enjoyed our meals. However, I must mention that the portion size of the tartare was quite small compared to the other dishes. There were a lot of fries & salad, but not much meat. On a positive note, the hot chocolate & cocktails were excellent, & the Canadian music created a perfect atmosphere for our Canadian experience. I highly recommend this place.

This restaurant was recommended by our friends & it was the perfect spot to take a break during our road trip across the Eastern Coast of Canada on our honeymoon. I am originally Canadian, & I wanted to try the breakfast poutine, however I must admit, it was pretty dry & not up to par with the original poutine recipe from Smoke's that I have continued to love for decades. I was very impressed with the atmosphere of the outdoor patio in the back with the vibrant red color of the table linens & the environment was very comfortable. We were immediately greeted as we walked in & were sat comfortably! The service was a bit slow, as it was very crowded. The bathroom design was very unique (see photos). I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a cozy atmosphere to dine in while touring Quebec City.

Special mention must be made of the washrooms, which are truly one-of-a-kind. The design is unlike anything I've seen before - it's a work of art in itself! The service was also top-notch, with friendly & attentive staff who made sure our every need was met. Many people recommend this restaurant. We went there at 6pm to get a seat. I was seated smoothly. The servers at the restaurant were very friendly, & when they saw me pouring water by myself, they came over & said, "This is my job! PLZ Don't let my boss see you doing my job! & your job here is to relax & enjoy the food! His words made us all very happy. I am so sorry I forgot his name. Every dish was amazing & reminded me of that famous TV show, the Bear & Chef Carmen. Everything was wonderful! Even the decoration of the bathroom was a hit with me as a former architect. I highly recommend you to eat here.
Wonderful experience. Our server was very nice & interactive. The atmosphere was perfect for a Quebec City trip. Highly recommend you give this place a try!
The best brunch & even best restaurant overall we went to in Quebec. Make reservation few days ahead of time & you can come straight in to enjoy the vibe & great food. Highly recommend Sugar Shack that is a good combination with variety of food & 2 people can share one. Price is reasonable & very nice service. We definitely will come back next time!
