We enjoyed having breakfast here for 7 out of 10 days while on vacation. This was part of the breakfast package from the hotel chateau du Pierre. The location is very nice & decor is very cool. I love the bathroom area with tub sink. The staff is super friendly & attentive. The food is great, love the eggs & toast & bacon, cooked perfectly every day. Remember to make your reservations the night before or earlier. On the weekends they were booked & we missed out on two days.

Great atmosphere! The menu can be overwhelming at first but I loved every item I ordered (HIGHLY recommend the Quebec Old Fashioned & Sheppard's Pie)!

All staff were very attentive & friendly. Great place.

I have been to this restaurant many times. We travel to Quebec & always look forward to eating here. On this trip we ate there a few times & on the last night we had dinner there. Although the food & service was good,I had the shepherds pie, & it came to the table cold I asked for it to be heated & it came back still not hot. When I had to return it a second time I was sitting right next to the kitchen & could see the waiter handing my plate to the cook & the cook started yelling at the waiter & literally threw my plate into the oven. It's unfortunate as it left a bad taste in my mouth. The food here is good but the attitude of the cook was terrible. At least on the third try it came out hot & delicious.

Un brunch très agréable, dans un lieu des plus charmants. La cuisine est excellente & la décoration est très jolie dans des murs de pierres authentiques, ornés de boiseries.
L'un des points forts de ce restaurant fut le service : le personnel est très accueillant, dans un souci du confort & de la satisfaction du client. Chacun des serveurs qui s'est occupé de nous fut irréprochable. En allant du souci du bien-être de notre bébé de 6 mois à réchauffer l'un de nos plats parce que l'un de nous a du s'absenter de la tablée durant quelques minutes.
Nous recommandons La Bûche !

Amazing opportunity to experience classic Quebec dishes in a country cabin experience with fun make you want to move French music.. no need to know the words the rhythm & music are catchy.
The rabbit wings are barbecued in the most delicious sweet barbecue sauce. This sauce needs to be sold nationally in grocery stores.
The venison tartare & classic Shepard's pie are also a must. You don't want to miss this very casual Quebec experience.. you are in the bush.

Friendly staff & outstanding food. Would recommend you try the deconstructed Shepard's Pie & the Poor Man's Pudding. Would recommend sharing the pudding, too large for one person to finish.

Great atmosphere, amazing food - the Shepherd's pie was incredible, as was the pea soup & the poor man's pudding. Our family of 4 had an amazing time. Would highly recommend.

What a great experience of Québécois dining. I had the Salmon Pie & it was exquisite! My husband had the Traditional Tourtiere & loved every bite. He also enjoyed the house blond beer. The pork rinds, pickled onion & beets that were brought out were all delicious.

Delicious & fast. My only wish is that they had duck on the menu. But the rabbit & the Shepard's pie was truly wonderful.
