Jolie découverte non loin du Château Frontenac, un resto fort sympathique & a l'abris du passage des touristes.
La soupe à l'oignon est délicieuse, nous avons pris le croque monsieur qui était lui aussi très bon.
Nous avons diné en terrasse, qui est très agréable, & la façade & l'intérieur du restaurant sont très joli.
Malgré l'heure tardive, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement, merci à Marco d'avoir jaser avec nous, c'était un très bon moment.
Bref, un bon repas dans un joli cadre, au calme, avec un personnel super sympa, c'est à La Nouvelle France qu'il faut aller.

Great little cafe located on an artists alley. Lively terrace or indoor seating. Steak frites was good. Steak cooked perfectly. Onion soup was delicious as were the fish & chips. Maple syrup pue was creamy & sweet but not over sweet. Great service. Overall a wonderful quiet place for a meal.

At the beginning I liked the ambiance, the location, but I got really disappointed with the kitchen in general. To drink, I had a sangría that was very ordinary. To eat, the baguette with salmón fumée & salad. JesusCrist!! I'm not picky neither demanding, but I could eat that, not even one bite. The bread was unbelievably horrible, dry ,& we could tell that the salmón was also bad, strange color....so I've changed for a soup, wich was cold & a little bit less bad than the salmón. Maybe the chef was on vacations, maybe I wasn't lucky....but, there's something very positive about this place! They are pets friendly, maybe pet's lovers , & this is amazing !! So I think that I'm gonna give myself a chance & I'll come back eventually, with my dog.

En bonus, ce resto est situé dans la ruelle des aquarellistes, qui est remarquable par l'exposition des oeuvres présentées gratuitement, une offre aujourd'hui rarissime.

Bref, pour prendre le temps entre deux missions de reconnaissance afin de vivre au rythme de cette magnifique ville de Québec.
I had pasta & cheese cake, a very creamy cheese cake-8/10. Pasta was gooood too, could be a little bitsy thicker, but still good.
& the tomato creamy soup, ohh myy god!!!
Overall experience was really good
The staff was suuuper friendly. We came in yesterday at 4:30pm, immediately got a table. The service was quick & accommodating, & the restaurant's interior was very comfy & homely. The French Onion Soup was soo delicious, perfectly hearty, warm & wholesome after a long winter's day spent outside. The cheesy baguette & salad were the perfect combination to complete the meal. I could honestly eat here every day & have been craving their onion soup again today ;,) . I wish I could come back to Quebec just to eat here again. Thank you!

We had lunch here as a big group. Ordered ribs, chicken club sandwich, onion soup & burgers. We didn't like any of the foods we ordered. Definitely pricy for what we got.
