This restaurant was flexible about our reservation, welcoming from the start, & unexpectedly delightful all around. My husband is very exacting about the quality of his food, & he thought every segment of the meal was excellent. I thought the preparations were imaginative & simply delicious. & we did not go away feeling too full! We only had 1 wine out of 8 we weren't thrilled with, but otherwise this restaurant is a total winner. Make sure you linger in the kitchen to say hello to the chef on the way in!

Certainly our best dining experience of 2022 -- a beautifully calibrated blend of setting, expert service, thoughtfully selected wine, & remarkable food. Highly recommend.

What a phenomenal food experience - from our entry into the dining room (which I won't spoil but it is quite fun) until our departure we could not have asked for anything more. This is a perfect dining & wine pairing meal - & they also offer a non-alcoholic pairing which is the first I have seen! If we were ever to return to Quebec City we would dine here again.

Beautiful restaurant. Exceptional service.
My wife & I chose the five course menu each & a bottle of wine. Very nice food presentation. Unique dining experience. Expect to be there for close to three hours.
Prices not shown on the website & on the menu. Bill came out to $400 with tip.

Quite simply the most fabulous meal we have ever had! Celebrating our 30th anniversary we had the Gastronomical 8 course menu with wine paring. The food was creative, artistic & so delicious. The service was friendly, sophisticated & charming. We had a most lovely evening & will definitely return.

Perhaps the finest meal we've ever enjoyed! (With Nostra in Reykjavík a close 2nd!). Everything was outstanding - the food, the presentation, the cocktails, & the excellent wait staff. Where to begin...? We were escorted to our table on the patio via the kitchen where we were greeted by the kitchen staff (a first for us!). We all selected the 8 course prix fixe meal but did not do the wine pairings (a mistake for sure but we had a very early morning the next day regrettably). The courses were, of course, suitably petite, carefully crafted, & finely presented. Each course was remarkable for its uniqueness without being so artisanal as to be odd of flavor or texture. Each course was paced perfectly & each delivered flavor notes that supported the entire gastronomic theme. The wait staff (& there were many) were helpful, friendly, & knowledgeable - exactly what a wait staff should be. After dining at many "fine" establishments since the pandemic I have noticed a general deterioration of quality of food & service...not so at Laurie Raphael's! All first class & impeccable. An expensive dining option but, in my opinion, worthy of every cent. Merci beaucoup!
