Yanick Parent's team which owns Bello Ristorante, La Bûche, Don Vegan et Peppe is very happy to team up with Stephane Modat, an amazing chef in Quebec city to create Le Clan.
Enter an exotic place where you seat next to mysterious beasts. Enjoy the sheer, raw pleasure that you will appreciate over and over again.
Le Clan offers a memorable culinary journey through the flavors of Quebec, featuring a menu that highlights fresh, locally sourced ingredients with impressive creativity and precision. Guests frequently praise the exceptional service, noting the professional and attentive staff who contribute to a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. While the tasting menus and wine pairings are often described as a highlight, the lunch service provides an accessible and highly recommended way to experience the restaurant's expertise. Whether enjoying an intimate brunch or a multi-course dinner, diners consistently appreciate the meticulous presentation and the unique, farm-to-table concept that defines the overall experience.
It was the most memorable dinner from start to finish. The booth at the bar was intimate, yet entertaining. Every dish & mocktail pairing was thoughtfully prepared & tasted exquisite. The documentary about Chef Stephanie Modat exploring local artisans & ingredients in nature was truly educational. I learned so much about his deep respect for the land & how he brings the freshest elements into his cooking. He truly embodies the meaning of'farm to table.' Le Clan is a must for any occasion.

We had a very pleasant experience with great dinner options including a preset 4- or 6-course menu as well as a la carte choices. We opted for the 6 course chef menu & were very pleased with the variety, presentation & taste. The wine list is exhaustive. The wine pairing options were excellent.
Service was wonderful: friendly & down to earth, not pretentious but very informative. The sommelier was very accommodating & adjusted the preset wine pairings to our requests & preferences without any issues, i.e.'no problem at all'.
All in all an awesome experience. Le Clan is to be absolutely recommended!!! When in Québec, we will be back!!!
superb dining experience - food quality was top notch, innovative, & delicious. Service was friendly & highly knowledgeable about the food & wine pairings. Memorable experience, as good as any fine dining we have enjoyed in New York or Philadelphia.
An unforgettable dining experience at Le Clan. We chose the tasting menu with wine pairing, & from start to finish it was absolutely fantastic. Each course was beautifully presented, thoughtfully composed, & bursting with flavor, perfectly complemented by the wine selections.
It's easy to understand why Le Clan holds a Michelin star. The precision, creativity, & balance in every dish reflect a chef & team who work seamlessly together. The service was polished yet warm, making the entire evening feel refined without being pretentious.
This was more than just dinner, it was a true culinary journey. Le Clan delivers an exceptional experience that lives up to its reputation, & I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for world-class dining.
The food was good, & the overall dining experience was enjoyable.
That said, the beverage pairing options were very poorly communicated. The distinction between'with alcohol' &'without alcohol' pairing is misleading.
When dining with others who selected the wine pairing, choosing the'without alcohol' option for the six-course menu automatically results in being automatically charged for a mocktail pairing, a detail that is neither listed nor explained on the menu.
The mocktail pairing costs $59, only $30 less than the full wine pairing, which was an unpleasant surprise for someone who reasonably expected to pay the advertised $119 menu price.
This could easily be avoided by clearly listing'mocktail pairing' as a separate option rather than treating it as the default alternative to alcohol (highly misleading).
I also reached out directly to share this feedback & received no response, which was disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber, hence the two-star rating.
This was probably the best meal I've ever had. The 6 course tasting plus wine pairing was perfect. The quality of the food, the beautiful presentation & the passionate & attentive service made this a beautiful evening.
Dinner at Le Clan was one of our highlights during our week in Quebec City. The interior is cosy, & the tastefully decorated room breathes class & calm. Acoustics were good despite the fact that all tables in our room were occupied. The service was that of what you can expect in a gastronomic restaurant; pertinent, personal & with great attention to details.
We went for the 6 course & I chose the wine pairing & my partner went for the mocktail pairing which were both a lovely exploration, original & well-balanced.
The food was exquisite, each dish crafted with such care, with locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality. We love the fact that the chef works with small producers & works with seasonal & super fresh ingredients. Each dish was a piece of art in itself, a candy for the eye & feast on the palate. If you want a gastronomic experience in Quebec you can really go eyes closed here!!
