Great culinary experience in this sophisticated place. The menu was deliciously cooked & nicely presented. It also shows a lot what Québec's environment has to offer, since they put the focus on regional (& seasonal) products. The wine pairing was nicely thought of & the staff was super friendly.
Not to forget to mention: the nice interior design of the restaurant!
All in all, definitely one place to put an eye on!

This was one of the best meals we have ever shared! The six course tasting menu with wine pairings was sublime ... the bar seating was perfect ... & Olivier's attention to every detail enhanced the entire experience!

Many of Quebec‘s best restaurants offer a tasting menu & we have explored many of them. Le Clan clearly doesn't meet the standard set in the city or its hype. The service, decor & attention to detail are as expected. It comes down to the food- just not at the level one expects in this price range or experienced at other QC restaurants offering tasting menus. Be cautious too the champagne offered as an intro to the meal is not part of the wine pairing & adds an extra $25 per flute to your meal cost. All in all explore other options if you have to time.

regular menu was excellent with great wine pairings; vegetarian options were very limited even with advance notice when we made the reservation; not a good option for groups with vegetarians- vegetarians left hungry

I cannot find the superlatives necessary to describe my experience here. We were fortunate enough to dine at the chef's table next to the kitchen but even if you can't do that you will enjoy every minute & every bite! Service was top notch. Food & wine pairings were beyond imagination-combinations that we would or could not imagine worked perfectly. We had the 6 course "blind" menu with pairings & it was just spectacular. Watching Chef Stephane & his team work in the kitchen was fascinating, as was the pace of the meal & the total control that the kitchen had. No craziness or running or yelling, just a perfect pace & obvious perfection at work. I simply cannot recommend Le Clan enough. It is the best restaurant in Quebec City today!

My wife & I came here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary & delayed honeymoon (We had a wedding during lockdown), & Le Clan did not disappoint. We're from BC & don't speak as much French, but they were kind & their English was amazing. The food was fresh, delicious, & phenomenal. The wine pairings were perfectly chosen to each dish. The staff who waited us are what really enhances our experience. Lorenzo & Jeff both took such good care of us & made us feel comfortable. Staff are extremely kind, knowledgeable, & easy to talk to & ask questions. Do not be hesitant to book with Le Clan, they are worth it.

Chef Modat does a masterful job creating a tasting menu, each dish of which is part of delicious culinary tour of the various regions of Quebec, & which is served & well matched with a wine pairing in the lovely ambience of Le Clan by a welcoming & knowledgeable staff!

The meal was so delicious, especially the halibut with chanterelle sauce! Wine pairings & service were also exceptional, would definitely recommend!
