Our experience at Le Clan was very positive. Our waitress was wonderfully attentive. Because it is an unusual restaurant, we needed some guidance. Our original waitstaff ( a man) was helpful but not terrific. I questioned the quantity of wine since I dont like to drink much… in retrospect I feel that I was oversold the wine pairing. I would have been better off ordering a glass or wine or two. The food was terrific. We enjoyed all of it…some dishes more than others.

We had the 6-course dinner here, & every dish on the tasting menu was amazing! The ingredients were fresh & locally sourced, & each dish was unique from the other. I particularly loved the arctic char & the lamb. The service was impeccable - very friendly & welcoming. They were also open to accommodations to dietary needs - swapping out the shellfish amuse bouche for an eggplant for me. Would highly recommend!

This restaurant is situated in the old city.
It highlights a tasting menu of 4 or 6 courses. We chose the 6. The food was exceptional. Every course a taste bud delight. For people that like to eat in bits & bites. This one is top notch. Having said that the bathrooms need some work. They are unisex & we found them sub par for the caliber of food & price. A man can be urinating at a urinal while a woman waits for the stall. There was also a urine smell. During the last service of the evening they ran out of cloth hand towels which were used instead of a paper towel dispenser. The food was so good & that was just a turn off that could be easily remedied to match the food experience. Seperate the bathrooms it will make the customer experience better.

I will not describe the six course paired menu we chose for our meal. I bet it changes frequently. However, I will say all of the food & paired wine was great, but the last course veal paired with a red wine from Italy. Fantastic! The dessert was three different rhubarb presentations with a German wine. It, too, was excellent. All of the servers were friendly & helpful. All in all a great meal.

I have to admit the food is kinda OKAY, but nothing really surprised me. The chef is too enthusiastic about the game & fishing. The sauce does not have Taste layering, & the dishes is lack of flavor diversity. The worst part: Dish serving is Tooooooo slow! We come at 6:30pm,waited over 2 hours for the all dishes to come, & now it's 8:53pm, we are still seating here waiting for the dessert. I think it's the chef's fault.

C'est sûr que c'est un restaurant haute gamme, mais le rapport qualité prix est un peu trop élevé. Le couple d'amis avec nous ont été déçus du vin (à 95 $). Service excellent.
