Tapas style lunch menu was great. Service was great. I am gluten free & unable to consume cows milk, yet somehow I had access to most of the menu with no modifications.

Au début, j'étais un peu intimidée d'aller y manger seule, mais on m'a rapidement mise à l'aise. Le raffinement & le soin apportés aux plats sont à l'image du service ; accueil, plats, vin, tout ! J'ai été reçue avec une grande gentillesse & beaucoup d'attention. Tout était si délicat ! Une expérience mémorable - autant pour les papilles que sur le plan humain. Une soirée très inspirante. J'y retournerais - & vais le recommander - sans hésitation.

Discovered Le Clan on a top restaurant list & loved the focus on local ingredients (where each product comes from). Upon arrival, you immediately get a glimpse of the kitchen which was really cool. The dining area is upstairs, making you feel like you are walking into a private club - like you are part of the clan. We debated between the four & six course preset menu & ultimately went with the six. Glad we made the decision as our two favourites would not have been part of the four. Did not do the wine pairing, opted to pick our own bottle as I don't enjoy very many types of wine. We also started with a couple cocktails (old fashioned & a dirty Martini) & both were very good. Every dish was amazing. Cooked perfectly, well balanced, with a lot of ingredients we had never had before (ie seal & algae). With that said, none were intimidating & all were thoroughly explained by our server. The service from Johnathan & the rest of the staff was top notch - they were very attentive & made us feel comfortable the whole time. We had new utensils for every dish, plates were cleared away, wine glasses filled before new dishes came out etc. Attention to detail was obvious. Would highly recommend Restaurant Le Clan & will try to come back during another visit to Quebec City. PS. Make sure you try out the cool bathrooms.

My husband & I had the pleasure of enjoying the 6 course tasting menu at this tucked away restaurant. I felt fortunate that the Chef's table was available at our preferred time. It's not often that one has the opportunity to see culinary experts at work in a fabulous kitchen. The dishes were well thought out, perfectly prepared, presented & served. The team were accommodating in every way. The ingredients are carefully sourced which explains a frequently changing menu. This is evident in the flavors & complimentary textures. Le Clan should be a "must" visit for those interested in a gustatorial experience rather than just something to eat. Kudos to the entire team. Keep up the great work.

C'était une superbe expérience. Juste au niveau du service notre serveuse était expéditive & froide, mais ce n'était peut-être pas sa journée. Le reste était plus que parfait! Gros coup de coeur!

Ce restaurant est maintenant la plus belle expérience que j'ai eu dans la ville de Québec. Nous avons souvent des repas d'affaires avec les clients. Nous avons été franchement impressionnés par les plats recommandations & attentions des serveurs. Nous avons eu des plats surprenants comme du phoque, homard, crabe des neiges & toutes sortes de sauces super bien agencées avec leur plat. Tous des produits du Québec & il y a de quoi être fier. Les viandes étaient cuites à la perfection. Le pré-dessert & le dessert nous ont pris par surprise. Tellement que nous faisions des blagues sur la probabilité d'un post-dessert. Un serveur passait & nous avait entendu blagué. Ils sont venus nous revoir avec un post-dessert préparé dernière minute. Nos clients étaient énormément impressionnés.
