The lobster roll was very good here! Got it with a order of poutine fries. My only negative, we sat outside & there was nearby drilling on the roof of a building that gave us a headache. I know that was out of their control though.

Restaurant bien situé. Service inégal. Sur 4 personnes 1 considère avoir bien mangé. Boudin extrêmement salé, portion insuffisante accompagnée de légumes vapeur détrempés & non assaisonnés. Poutine avec saucisses... littéralement 2 morceaux de saucisses de la grosseur de la moitié d'un pouce... je n'y retournerai pas.

On a day trip from Montreal we had the pleasure of eating here.

I tried their Poutine, my first one & I enjoyed it, although massive portion of chips!

My husband had the ribs, he said they were his absolute best ribs for years & years!

The Poutine was awful! The cheese curds were only partially covered with lukewarm gravy & were like rubber. It took two hours before I could get rid of the nasty residual taste in my mouth. The restaurant is on a fairly busy road.

We went on Sunday, just in time for lunch. So much a cute space, tight quarters, but we didn't care. It added to the atmosphere. Breakfast poutine, grilled cheese & cocktails to start our time in Quebec City off. Our waiter was lovely & helpful. Didn't correct our terrible attempt at speaking French & played along. Would absolutely return!

We sampled a bunch of different menu items. The classic beef tartare, one of the listed favourites, can be divisive & not for everyone. Personally, it was a treat for me trying out something different, but I do not think everyone would appreciate its almost raw meat & liver-like texture. The Tartare comes with fries, a salad, & crouton to round up the order.

We upgraded the side of fries that came with the Tartare into their Tout Cochon poutine. I was happy with that option that way I was able to sample their house poutine without needing to dedicate a full meal order for it. I can say this was among the best poutines I have had. The gravy was rich & flavourful. The poutine was also loaded with a variety of different proteins like the Gaspor farm ham & the bacon-wrapped sausage. The perron cheese curds also perfectly topped off the whole dish.

Our last order was the Quebec pork chop marinated & grilled with maple & tamari. It was served with apple chutney, sweet potato mash, & seasonal vegetables. It is exactly as you would expect with the ingredient details of the dish's name. You get a lot of different flavour profiles & textures with the meal order. Some saltiness with the pork chop then some sweetness with the apple chutney. Meaty tenderness with the pork chop, mushiness with the potato mash, & then some slightly crunchiness with the seasonal vegetables.

We dined on Sunday lunchtime the day before Family Day. There were people waiting to be seated by the time we arrived, but fortunately our group of only 2 people has a table spot available so did not need to wait. We were led down flights of stairs to the lower floor which was level with the street below. The whole place with its classic walls & decor exudes with classic charm.
