Many visitors highlight the friendly, attentive service and the charming, lively atmosphere, making it a reliable spot for both families and tourists. We had the 4 pilons canard & the cotes XXL. The duck was the starter & it was delicious with the sauce, the main was the pork ribs which was so tender & the meat was falling of the ribs. Perfectly done . Portion was huge with the salads. Highly recommended 👍
The food was excellent as the first time being in Québec City, we had the ribs & the texture, taste, & quality was amazing not at all bad for the price. The service was top tier making sure we enjoy the food & time.As a first time I did have my douts whether it will be good but in the end it was fantastic. If you decide to come to Québec City please try this restaurant.
The staff was very friendly & the food was my favourite within Quebec City. We had the ribs, their signature poutine, Shepards pie, & pork chop. I typically do not like pork chop but it was VERY well done & I thoroughly enjoyed it. Each dish, although different, was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Loved our food & the Server. Delicious French pea soup, fish & chips, ribs....& some pudding that the server suggested cream on top. It was mind blowing. Thank you & see you again for sure!
Even though we followed the crowd to choose this popular restaurant, it did not disappoint. I ordered the famous baby pork ribs (regular size), & it was very fulfilling! The surface of the pork was well-marinated with a sweet & sour sauce. The meat was tender. Paired with the salad & fries, the whole dish was very satisfying. I also tried the soup of the day, which was a zucchini cream soup. It was light & comforting. I wanted to try their crème brûlée, but unfortunately it was sold out for the day. Our server David was very nice & attentive! Overall it was a great dining experience.
Food exceeded our expectations! We arrived a little late for the breakfast menu, which ends at 11:15 on weekdays, so we had the ribs & the steak. Everything was tasty & well prepared.
The ambiance at this rustic restaurant is amazing. The walls tell a story of this town's beautiful history, all while having perhaps the best ribs of your life with a side of carrot cake!
I decided to eat here after reading online reviews from various sites. I tried the iconic pork ribs here. The ribs tasted alright. I personally found the sauce was slightly too sweet & could get heavy after a few bites. The salad was good. However, considering the price & the portion, I would give it 5 stars.
There are always a lot of people here & luckily there was a table for us. The pork ribs were really good, the poutine was delicious & we got good service.
