We started off with the french onion soup which was very very good & the best I had in ville de Québec. Also the bread was simple but tasted great, very fresh. For the main dishes we had the Mushroom ravioli & the rabbit leg with duck sausage. The Mushroom ravioli was very good, in a nice cream sauce. The rabbit leg was quite good as well, but could be slightly more crispy. It came with lots of beans. The duck sausage tasted nice. For dessert we had the poached pear which was a bit of a let down. We expected it to be warm but it was cold. I would suggest trying to heat it up as I think it would taste better this way & bring out the flavours more. The service was very good as the staff worked as a team when serving our table instead of just having one server. Overall quite a nice resturant.
We stopped by for coffee & dessert, & it was such a lovely experience. The decorations were very different & interesting, giving the place a unique charm. The staff were warm & welcoming. We sat right beside an authentic fireplace-hearing the crackling fire (without any smoke!) made it extra cozy.
The desserts were truly a different experience 🤤😋. After walking in freezing weather, enjoying delicious desserts & a great cup of coffee here is an absolute must. Highly recommended!
One of coziest restaurants in Le Petit Champlain w very nice ambiance
The staff are very attentive & the food is very good.
The rabbit leg with mustard sauce , along with lamb as mains were excellent
The starter, mixed greens & very fresh.
Dessert- we had Crème Brûlée which was very nice way to end off a beautiful meal
Pretty good meal. Had the poutine, French onion soup, cassoulet & rabbit saddle. The desserts are to die for!!!! Get the honey pie & crème brûlée. Best part of the meal!
Outstanding dining experience. We went for lunch. The atmosphere is beyond wonderful & the service & food was spectacular. The lentil carrot soup was sooo good & the honey pie for dessert!
Incroyable !
The food here was incredible! Our favorite spot that we ate while in Quebec. The rabbit pot pie & rabbit poutine were delicious. The service was great, they brought us a special dessert for celebrating our honeymoon! A must try!!
Repas très bon, produits de qualités autour du lapin. Une tarte au miel salé en dessert à tomber ! Serveur au top. Terrasse sympa, même si manque un peu de place.
Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait.
There were many tables inside packed super close to each other so it got pretty loud.
We had the cheese fondue for appetizer - the melted cheese tasted ok. It was not runny even when it sat for 15-20mins & the bread had a light garlic flavour. (6/10)
Then we tried the Quebec Discoveries - the two duck items were my favourite as they were very savoury. The only thing I didn't like were the onions (8/10) & Rabbit Pot Pie - the crust was flakey but not buttery as I had hoped. The rabbit meat is tender like chicken but I didn't love the flavour of the soup. It was more on the mild side (7/10).
We ended it off with a Poached Pear - I don't like pairing fruits with chocolate or anything sweet so I didn't really enjoy this dessert. The pear was not sweet but it had a light cinnamon taste. (3/10)
I would definitely come here again to try their other rabbit & duck dishes.
