Le Lapin Sauté was highly recommended to us & they didn't disappoint. We were met with smiles & attended to almost immediately. Our dishes were exquisite & compliments were expressed to the Chefs. Needless to say, we will return.

We had a wonderful experience at Le Lapin Sauté in the beautiful Petit-Champlain area. The restaurant has a very charming & cozy atmosphere, & the location is absolutely beautiful.
The food was delicious, fresh, & very well prepared. We especially enjoyed the authentic local Québec flavours & the unique menu. The staff were friendly, welcoming, & professional, & the service was excellent.
The combination of great food, excellent service, & the beautiful historic surroundings of Petit-Champlain made our visit very enjoyable. It is a lovely place to stop for a meal while exploring Old Quebec.
Highly recommended, & definitely worth visiting

Want to experience good Quebec food, this is it. The server was excellent. When my ice wine came out too early for the main course (with Foie gras as part of it), she shook her head & say that is too early, & won't be at the right temperature with the main. Took it back & keep it chilled. Much appreciated her attention to details. Food was excellent. Highly recommended.

We chose Le Lapin Sauté for dinner last night based on its excellent reputation & booked a table for our family of four at 8:00 pm.

After waiting 30 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation, we were placed at what was arguably the worst table on the terrace, squeezed into a corner against a stone wall. The metal tables & chairs are not particularly comfortable to begin with, & in that location it was even worse.

Almost immediately after we sat down, a much more comfortable table for four became available. I politely asked the hostess if we could move, but she simply said it wasn't possible. The disappointing part is that the table remained empty for the rest of the evening until we left.

As a result, we spent the entire dinner feeling cramped & uncomfortable, more eager to leave than to enjoy what should have been a special evening at such a highly recommended restaurant.

The food was good, but hospitality is about much more than food. It's about making guests feel welcome & valued. Your staff had every opportunity to improve our experience with a simple gesture, yet chose not to.

What should have been a wonderful memory of Le Lapin Sauté became a disappointing one because of the way we were treated. I hope this feedback is taken constructively. Customer satisfaction isn't just about what's on the plate-it's about ensuring guests leave happy, especially when making that happen is so easy.

Le Lapin Sauté absolutely lived up to its reputation. Everything we ordered was excellent, from the rich French onion soup & foie gras to the rabbit poutine, rabbit pot pie, & rabbit roulade. Each dish was flavorful, perfectly prepared, & showcased rabbit in a different way.

The atmosphere was warm, inviting, & very intimate-it's a small space that probably can't accommodate more than 20 people. The service was friendly & attentive, & the whole experience felt quintessentially Québécois.

This place was highly recommended. It was our first time in Quebec city & we wanted a memorable experience. My husband ordered a beer & we ordered wine to share with his meal. I ordered the rabbit saddle & he the rabbit pie. We were shocked when halfway through his beer, the meal arrived not even 10 minutes later. There were 3 medallions of rabbit. The smallest piece was tough. The others tender. It looked hastily arranged on the plate & the meal was Luke warm. The crust on my husband's pie was chewy & the side salad was nothing special. We were so disappointed. Will never go back. Not my idea of a dining experience in Quebec.
