Wanted to try food know for the area & was not disappointed. Great taste & presentation for open minded customers , I had a plate of rabbit meat prepared in variety. Service was great , it was nice to see smily welcoming staff faces. Restaurant is super small & obviously popular , kinda tight .

Lovely restaurant with old-world charm located on a street with beautiful lights, in combination with the delicious meal it made for a magical evening. Service was excellent, food delicious & seating was cozy & comfortable. It was a treat to eat rabbit- you don't get it anywhere else!

We started off with the french onion soup which was very very good & the best I had in ville de Québec. Also the bread was simple but tasted great, very fresh. For the main dishes we had the Mushroom ravioli & the rabbit leg with duck sausage. The Mushroom ravioli was very good, in a nice cream sauce. The rabbit leg was quite good as well, but could be slightly more crispy. It came with lots of beans. The duck sausage tasted nice. For dessert we had the poached pear which was a bit of a let down. We expected it to be warm but it was cold. I would suggest trying to heat it up as I think it would taste better this way & bring out the flavours more. The service was very good as the staff worked as a team when serving our table instead of just having one server. Overall quite a nice resturant.

Absolutely wonderful! Loved the quaint & cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious. I had The rabbit pot pie & my husband had the pork. The cheese fondue was the best I've ever had & our server was fun, gave us great recommendations & was attentive.

Always a hit! French Onion soup is the best in town, plus can't miss the Rabbit Poutine…try the mustard sauce. I stop in each visit to Quebec City - p.s. try the Vin Chaud if you're there in the winte

Terrible meal. We had the platter for 2. Both the duck & rabbit were overcooked & very dry. We suspected they were leftovers from day before. Green beans were limp & again we suspected they were leftovers.

Le Lapin Sauté is a true gem in Old Québec. Cozy, charming, & full of character, it serves outstanding French-Québécois cuisine with rabbit & duck as highlights. The dishes are rich & comforting, the service is warm & attentive. A must-visit spot in Petit-Champlain - reservations recommended.

Small location so make sure to book ahead of time if possible. Food was delicious, atmosphere was very cozy. Location is great, bottom of break neck steps. Lots of shops nearby. I ordered the Eggs Benedict Rabbit Confit & it was amazing. My wife ordered the avocado toast with smoke salmon & it was delicious as well. Would highly recommend this location & plan on returning the next time we visit Quebec City.

It's a small restaurant with no more than 15 tables, & given how popular it is, you'd better make a reservation in advance if you plan to eat there. We tried the onion soup, poutine, rabbit pie, & cassoulet, accompanied by hot cider-everything was succulent & super yummy! I really hope I can go there again.

The girl serving was beyond expectations. I went on january 5 at 8:30 pm & had the duck magret & loin of rabbit with honey pie for dessert. I loved this place & service. Definetly recommend.
