We liked the vibe/decor, nice & colorful, greenery to make a pleasant atmosphere. The service was attentive. The food was fresh, but fell short of wowing me with any exquisite flavors. Overall milder dishes. Nothing stands out in my memory & it hasn't been a week since we ate there. Too expensive for a forgetful meal. Nice but not outstanding, for the money I feel they can do alot better.

An extremely pleasant experience from start to finish. From the moment we entered & were greeted warmly,to our server & mixologist & those that brought out our dishes. The meals were delicious & they accommodate a meat eater,vegetarian & a pescatarian in our group of three. Everyone thouroughly enjoyed their meals & the taste was exceptional. My only complaint, I wish the portions were larger. I can't wait to return as the chef changes the menu often & there is always something new. What a wonderful concept.

Amazing service. I took the discovery menu (Vegetarian & Vegan courses) with the person I was going with & we couldn't have been more satisfied!! The non-alcoholic pairings went great with the dishes.

Very creative dishes, but fairly mild tasting. Some of the elements, for example the pesto that was in a couple of dishes, could have had more flavor (salt, garlic, lemon. etc. to bring out the flavours).

Wow! Exceeded my expectations which were already high as the menu looked amazing. I would even say this restaurant is on par with Alo in Toronto (top in Canada). Such creative dishes beautifully plated with excellent service. LOVE that they have vegetarian & vegan options for the tasting menu. The decor & ambience are also top for sure!! You MUST go!!

As an english speaking visitor in Quebec City, with minimal functional french to use, the staff at L'Orygine went to their every effort to work with our table & communicate their dishes & cocktails. Beyond that great kindness, the staff were knowledgeable; talented; passionate & professional. Their service was unmatched, & they made our dinning experience just that-an experience.
The meal & drinks were phenomenal, beautiful flavours paired well with expertly made cocktails & chosen wines. It was a meal that left you thinking about booking your next reservation.

Amazing & creative dishes that the Kitchen made to work with our food intolerances.The pairing of wines with the dishes just made it all the more better. The Wait Staff was wonderful in explaining which each dish comprised of & would answer any question we had. The atmosphere had a beautiful peaceful tone that just made our night even more special! Cannot wait to visit Quebec City again & this wonderful gem of a restaurant!

Excellent service, but a slightly elevated price. We had the vegan 5 course tasting menu. The naan & tempeh dish was simply amazing, but the other dishes didn't keep up with the level of taste. The strawberry & pavlova dessert was way too sweet. But overall a very good experience!

The restaurant is well situated & beautiful. We had dinner on the back patio & were satisfied with the way the tables were organized to maintain physical distancing. We ordered the five course blind menu (two regular & one vegetarian). From the time we confirmed our order, the service was extremely rushed - the five dishes were served very quickly with barely a few minutes between each one of them. It was clear that our table needed to be ready for a second sitting. While the food was creative & well-presented, we felt just "ok" with the taste & flavours ( maybe our expectations were too high given that we have been to the Legende & Taniere previously).
