Wow! Exceeded my expectations which were already high as the menu looked amazing. I would even say this restaurant is on par with Alo in Toronto (top in Canada). Such creative dishes beautifully plated with excellent service. LOVE that they have vegetarian & vegan options for the tasting menu. The decor & ambience are also top for sure!! You MUST go!!

I went there last night with my husband for our wedding anniversary - it was beautiful. We sat outside on the terrace & had a view of the port. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable. We had the vegetarian tasting menu; each course & accompanying wine was introduced to us. The food was delicious & I tried many things I hadn't tried before. Very happy to have stumbled across this restaurant & will be going there again, for sure!

We came here for dinner & the location, right in the heart of the old city, was perfect. The interior was beautiful & the food was excellent. We had the venison medallions which were so full of flavor... I would love to go back & try their tasting menu!

We had a memorable evening. We ordered the omnivore tasting menu with the Québécois wine pairings. I had no idea there were so many good wines in this province that paired really well with the different courses which kept getting more outstanding with each course. We were introduced to sriram & I have a new appreciation for celery & carrots.

The service was flawless & highly coordinated. I had dinner with a unilingual anglophone & the staff were fluently bilingual.

Wonderful experience starting with the warm welcome from all of the staff & a detailed description of all offerings. There is a focus on sourcing the best local ingredients. Each course of the tasting menu was artfully plated & the tastes were phenomenal. My favourite from the omnivore menu was the guinea fowl! Wine & cocktail pairings were well matched. Beautiful terrace setting. Heated for your comfort. A wonderful romantic spot for a night. Thank you to the staff for be attentive but also allowing us to linger between courses. We will be back.

Excellent service, but a slightly elevated price. We had the vegan 5 course tasting menu. The naan & tempeh dish was simply amazing, but the other dishes didn't keep up with the level of taste. The strawberry & pavlova dessert was way too sweet. But overall a very good experience!

Extremely disappointed. We wanted to have a special dinner for our last night in Quebec: we chose L'Orygine. Where do I begin. We both ordered the 5 course tasting menu along with the prestige wine.. we were served incorrect plates, one containing meat.. my girlfriend is a vegetarian, & she ate it thinking it was vegan friendly. your restaurant decided to restart the experience stating that you will start from the first course.. it took another hour to see a simple appetizer plate lol by the time we got the first course we weren't even hungry anymore. Our reservation was at 8:15, we left the restaurant at 11pm.. the service was terrible, your staff was very confused on what table was to get what plates, the kitchen was very slow & you messed up our order (both food & wine), it ruined our night.. we are thorough disappointed. For a restaurant that displays all these awards, it was in fact the worst restaurant we ate at during our entire trip. Will not recommend to friends & family. I paid a $400 bill for a terrible meal & terrible experience.. not worth the cost whatsoever. Sorry but not sorry.

Fantastic meal prepared perfect. The staff were very accommodating & delivered an outstanding experience. Highly recommend the tasting menu, fresh, seasonal, delicious. A must when staying in Quebec.
