Tout le personnel est accueillant, aimable, sympathique générant un très bon travail d'équipe. Restaurant charmant au magnifique décor & très bien situé dans le Vieux-Québec. On nous avait conseillé le menu découverte moitié carnivore moitié végan & nous avons été agréablement surpris par la présentation & les saveurs. Le tout était parfait.
Superbe expérience! De l'accueil au départ, l'équipe nous a fait vivre une expérience mémorable. Nous avons adoré l'entièreté du repas autant le menu découverte vegan que l'omnivore avec mention particulière au veau & au tempeh. Un merci particulier à Florence pour la qualité de ton travail.

It was our first time in Old Quebec & our first time dining at Bistro L'Orygine. My husband & I experienced 4 fixed priced menus during our stay & this was hands down the absolute best. We chose the vegan menu & it was over the top from the first bite. We sat at the bar & our bartender/visual artist was attentive & cheerful. The servers provided detailed descriptions of the food & easily engaged in conversation. Each course was artfully plated & creatively put together so that each bite was a taste explosion. I couldn't be more delighted with my dinner & what a wonderful way to end my visit in Old Quebec. A special thanks to the co-owner who stopped by to speak to us as I believe this is so important when dining at a restaurant of this caliber.
Bien manger dans un superbe environnement. Je recommande chaudement les mets véganes. Étant végane moi-même, quel plaisir de pouvoir se délecter en haute-cuisine. Sans compromis. & un service génial.

This restaurant transcends having a meal into an experience. The tasting menu (we had both Vegan & Omnivore) was divine & the wine pairing was simply perfect. How they manage to pair wines for both vegan & ominvore simultaneously was remarkable. The plating was sublime, but the pièce de résistance was the service. The staff were kind & attentive & we truly felt that they cared about our experience. It was a perfect dining event in a delightful setting.
Outstanding experience. We had the tasting menus. We were a combination of vegans, vegetarians & meat eaters (five people in total) & the restaurant had wonderful options for all of us. The service was excellent, highly knowledgeable, very friendly & unpretentious. I highly recommend L'Orygine.
Les plats (menu végan) sont tous très mous, sans l'aspect "croquant" que l'on recommande souvent dans ce type de cuisine, les couleurs sont sombres (noirs, gris), les sauces & les plats en général sont fades, sans ce côté épicé que l'on voit dans ces plats (par exemple dans le dahl),l'usage immodéré des courges & citrouilles est excessif, quand on connait le manque de goût de ces légumes, surtout si ce n'est pas relevé.
