I enjoyed my 5-course tasting so much on the previous evening, I decided to return to l'Orygine for a second night. I was not disappointed!

I started with a glass of champagne & 6 oysters, which I gather were from New Brunswick. The oysters were topped with a rhubarb foam & pearls of kombucha, plus a fresh leaf of I forget which herb -- I must say, a far more interesting than a classic mignonette!

I then opted for the vegan charcuterie. So many things were happening on that plate, & all of them a revelation! I particularly remember the smoked beet & caraway sausage! Again, the blend & contrast of flavors, colors, & textures was intense, yet everything complemented & enhanced everything else.

For dessert, I had the clafoutis, which was very good (if not a knockout) -- for my taste, the custard part was a little bit overcooked. But marvelous flavors, & beautiful presentation, nevertheless.

Once again, the extraordinary & exemplary service, & the warmth & good humor of all persons concerned, made this meal & evening a very special one I'll always remember.

Fantastic. We had the vegan menu & couldn't be more pleased. Every course was presented well with amazing flavours. I also can't say enough about the staff spot on.

The food was sub par — & over priced. The vegan food was designed to taste like meat of various kinds which is not a good idea/thinking.

This was our first time at l'Origine, & we all loved it. Three of us had the vegan discovery menu, & one had the omnivore discovery menu. The dishes, presentations, & explanations of the dishes were fantastic! The service & attention to details was impressive. The atmosphere & decor were also great. I highly recommend it for a beautiful evening out.

Absolutely fantastic. Outstanding chef, attentive, professional & fun staff, beautiful decor, great atmosphere. Highly recommend the five course meal. Vegan options are exquisite. This is an exceptional restaurant. Thank you!
