Great place to visit in Quebec. Every meal tastes amazing & menu is vegetarian/vegan friendly. Restaurant itself is very beautiful, comfortable seats, staff is super friendly. During our stay in Quebec we visited it twice: for breakfast & for New Year's 5 course meal. & it was exceptional!

I chose the restaurant to please a family member who is vegetarian -- & everyone in the family loved it. Sweet, friendly, gracious service. Food was thoughtful, imaginative, delicious, 100% Quebec. The interior was warm & modern. We were all charmed by the moss wall by the reception desk.

Our entire family, including our 10 year old son, chose the tasting menu. My husband & I chose the Canadian wine pairing, while our son chose the non-alcoholic pairing option. We all agreed that it was the best meal of our lives! Each course was stupendous, & the wine & mocktail pairings were absolutely perfect. It was well worth the splurge!

Far & away the best meal we had in all of Quebec! The staff were all extremely welcoming, & went out of their way to accommodate our groups dietary preferences. Bistro L'Orygine was the highlight of our already wonderful trip to Quebec City!

La nourriture était très bonne, le vin aussi. Moi qui est davantage carnivore j'y ai quand même très bien trouvé mon compte. Seule chose bizarre, à l'ouverture de notre bouteille de vin, la serveuse s'est versée quelques gouttes dans un verre, pour y gouter avant nous comme le font parfois les sommeliers... pratique qui est de moins en moins répandue d'ailleurs. Le problème est que c'est ma conjointe qui a finalement gouté le vin en premier donc l'objectif n'a pas vraiment été rencontré & finalement on l'a vu boire le vin en arrière du bar quelques minutes plus tard. Au moins ça nous aura fait rire.
