Venus tous les 5 il y a deux jours, nous avons adoré l'accueil, l'ambiance & le concept accord mets vins ou mets & sans alcool. Deux d'entre nous étant végétariennes, nous tenons à dire que le menu découverte est sensationnel & pour une fois nous n'avons pas eu à scruter la carte ou à délibérer ni culpabiliser pour trouver un plat sans viande ni poisson & avoir l'air de compliquer le travail des restaurateurs...les omnivores étaient également comblés & pourtant nous sommes tous les cinq des habitués des restaurants (français le plus souvent). Les saveurs, la couleur, la présentation, la vaisselle...tout est parfait ! Un grand bravo & longue vie à l'Orygine, nous espérons revenir la prochaine fois que nous nous rendrons à Québec !

I give this Restaraunt a 5 out 5 star. We came for dinner our first night in Quebec & had the pairing menu accompanied by the premium wine pairing option. Everything was amazing, the atmosphere, the food, the service & the attention to detail are all matched. We are back again for an afternoon cocktail. The creativity that has gone into every part of this establishment creates the most memorable experience.

Le cadre (la terrasse) est charmant & le personnel attentionné. Cependant, nous avons été extrêmement déçus par les plats. Le restaurant propose des plats pour les végétariens & omnivores mais force est de constater qu'il s'agit en réalité de mets végétariens auxquels de la viande ou du poisson est ajouté sans cohérence globale & sans saveurs particulières. Les plats sont composés de manière confuse avec une surenchère de légumes, graines & autres sauces végétales. Le menu dégustation n'est malheureusement pas à la hauteur de son prix. D'autres restaurants voisins pratiquent des prix similaires mais avec des propositions non végétariennes bien plus alléchantes.

Bistro l'Orygine in Quebec City offers a wonderful dining experience with its beautifully designed decor that sets a relaxed & elegant mood. I accidentally booked our reservation for the wrong month, but the host was incredibly accommodating & managed to find us a table, which we greatly appreciated. We opted for the 5 course dinner with a non-alcoholic pairing. The food was good overall, with some dishes standing out more than others. While it wasn't the best meal we've ever had, the experience was enjoyable, & the thoughtful service really made a difference. Bistro l'Orygine is a lovely spot to spend an evening, especially if you're looking for a place with great ambiance & attentive staff.

Amazing place in the heart of Old Quebec. Ordered a 6 course "Discovery Menu" paired with wine & it was awesome. The staff is well trained, well mannered & treats you well. It gets busy real quick, so reservation is recommended.
