Le décor est super & la nourriture est bonne, mais le service n'est pas fameux (à l'exception du mixologue, qui est génial). L'expérience générale a été décevante pour l'ensemble de notre groupe (9). Nous nous attendions au standard élevé de restaurants comme Les sales gosses & Rioux & Pettigrew, ce qui n'a pas été le cas.

Voilà un an que j'ai découvert ce resto... & hier, c'était ma 6e visite... en d'autres mots: c'est un coup de foudre! On choisi de visiter l'Origyne pour y trouver une table où les ingrédients locaux sont mis en valeurs. Des plats non seulement beaux, mais succulents vous sont présentés. Les portions sont parfaites. On quitte avec une impression de béatitude & on n'a qu'une idée: y retourner!!

The food was terrible. The wine was worse. Do not take the tasting menu unless you have an iron stomach. I think the owner is laughing at us for paying so much for so little.

Quand on regarde le menu & les prix, on imagine une assiette à 20$ en moyenne. Mais, rendu sur place, le personnel précise que les portions sont petites & que nous devrions prendre trois choix au minimum. Donc l'assiette grimpe à 60$. Ce qui n'était pas prévu, finalement on sort avec une grosse facture non prévu au budget.
