Le service était tout simplement sublime - attentionné, fluide & d'un grand professionnalisme, avec un souci du détail évident à chaque étape du repas. Chaque plat était réfléchi, tant dans les saveurs que dans la présentation, & l'accord vin prestige était superbe, parfaitement maîtrisé & en parfaite harmonie avec les mets.

Nous avons choisi le menu découverte, un omnivore & un végétarien. Nous avons vraiment apprécié les plats, ils étaient très savoureux, ce fut une excellente découverte. Seuls les desserts laissaient à désirer à mon goût. Ils étaient authentiques, mais pas assez savoureux pour vraiment ravir les papilles. Peut-être des desserts trop léger pour moi. Le service était excellent.
J'ai pris le menu découverte vegan & j'ai adoré. Service impeccable. Cher, mais ça vaut le coup & j'y retournerais pour une occasion spéciale. Les portions sont parfaites & les plats sont originaux.

Je suis tombé sous la charme du début a la fin...accueil personnalisé, la porte noire secrète qui mène au bar nous transporte ailleurs! Merci a Flavie coté bar qui maitrise chacun des cocktails & suggère selon nos gouts. L'équipe du service coté resto (qui est a coupé le souffle avec son décors) a été incroyable par ses descriptions & le service 5*. Un gros coup de coeur pour Florence. Menu découverte a la hauteur de mes attentes. Soyez prêt a sortir de votre zone de confort par contre.
A truly memorable fine dining experience. The food was eye-opening & absolutely divine, each dish thoughtfully crafted & full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy yet chic, creating the perfect setting for a special evening.
The service was impeccable we were warmly taken care of by an amazing server who made us feel genuinely welcomed. Our requests for no red meat & no alcohol in the dishes were respected with a big smile, without any compromise on taste or creativity.
We chose this restaurant for a special-occasion date night, & it exceeded our expectations in every way. Truly top-notch.
Our experience at L'Orygine was nothing short of perfection. My husband & I didn't know what to expect when we ordered the discovery menu but it was exquisite. Firstly, it was an incredibly elegant & excellent vegan menu - every dish was packed with flavour & perfect portions to accommodate 6 courses. The most lovely surprise was the wine selection, as we had no idea every course came with a different type of wine & they all paired perfectly with the food served. To top it all off, our server, Sam, was so attentive & kind; he was really the cherry on top of an already impeccable experience. My husband & I are still raving about L'Orygine even the next day. Thank you for such a special & amazing dinner experience. We can't wait to come back!
Bistro L'Orygine delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences we've ever had. We visited in February & enjoyed the prix fixe menu with the non-alcoholic drink pairing, & every single course was truly out of this world.
The care they took with our dietary restrictions & food allergies was exceptional. Nothing felt like an afterthought-each dish was thoughtfully adapted, beautifully executed, & every bit as exciting as the original menu. It created a sense of ease & trust that allowed us to fully relax & enjoy the experience.
The service was equally outstanding. The servers were warm, knowledgeable, & attentive without being intrusive. Each dish & drink was introduced with clear, engaging descriptions that added depth & context to the meal, making the experience feel immersive & intentional from start to finish.
Bistro L'Orygine isn't just a great restaurant-it's a destination. I would happily return to Québec City just to have another meal here, & I can't recommend it highly enough
Service impeccable, déco & ambiance vraiment bien. Nous avons pris le Menu Dégustation 6 services. Les quantités étaient parfaites. Je dirais qu'il y avait 2 plats biens, mais les 4 autres semblaient inachevés. Le plat fumé était vraiment trop fumé & amer, manque d'assaisonnement... J'aurais aimé un peu plus considérant le prix. Nous essayons beaucoup de restos & avions hâte d'y aller, mais nous sommes restés sur notre appétit (gustativement parlant).
Highly recommend for something special. A lovely night, amazing service (thanks Sam!) & absolutely delicious food. Looking forward to the next time! FYI: It is a blind tasting menu, if you go that route, so picky grumpy people beware!
