Wonderful experience at Bistro L'Orygine. Everything is locally sourced, making the already amazing dishes even more impressive, considering the constraints on what can be obtained locally. Staffs are very nice & are always happy to made your experience enjoyable.

We celebrated a birthday last Sunday night at L'Orygine & the entire night was perfect. The service was great & staff made it a very fun night. The restaurant had a great vibe & the food was spectacular. I will definitely go back again. Also a shout out to the gender neutral bathrooms so welcoming for everyone.

AMAZING! it was a highlight of our trip to Quebec. The service was fabulous & the food was wonderful & creative & surprising at each dish. The team was super knowledgeable & accommodating to my celiac issues. We went to Laurie Raphael the next night & it didn't begin to compare to L'Orygine.

Nous étions sur la terrasse & ce fut une expérience très agréable. Le service était courtois & attentionné. La nourriture, comme toujours, orientée vers le Québec était bien apprêtée sans oublier l'accord mets/vins, composé majoritairement de vins du Québec valait la peine d'être essayé en famille.

The word phenomenal barely captures this experience. Not only was every dish divine & the terrace environment magical, but it is the service of the exemplary team that brings this dining experience to an entirely new level. As a visitor it was so valuable to learn about each dish in a way that was informative yet not overwhelming & high-level service without pretension. The combination of all of the above was perfection, in our opinion. We will return to Quebec City for this dining experience again alone.

Food needs a lot more flavour. U have the fresh ingredients, now u need the flavour to add to the fresh ingredients to elevate the dining experience. We were very disappointed at the food despite the amazing reviews left by others.
