Le Matto, reste le Matto! Du service à la nourriture c'est simplement wow. Toujours agréable d'y manger. Je ne compte plus mes visites. Toutefois, c'étais la première fois dans la nouvelle version de Ste-Foy. Good job!

Could only get a reservation at the bar for our desired time. We had wonderful service at the bar from Alexis. She was professional, pleasant & took very good care of us. Her food recommendations were spot on. I had the seafood linguine with tomato sauce & it was delicious. My husband had the carbonara with the egg yokes & it was so rich & yummy. We closed with the wonderful crème brûlée. The atmosphere was warm & inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great Italian meal!

Menu varié. Portions adéquates. Repas chaud.
Attention: Si un membre de votre groupe commande de l'eau en bouteille, le serveur en apporte pour tout le groupe, même pour ceux qui ne sont pas arrivés. Un 18$ imprévu pour...deux verres d'eau. Bref, on se sent cheap si on le souligne & on accepte la manière de faire si on ne dit rien. Je me suis senti cheap... & on a voulu compenser cette'erreur' par un digestif.

Au final, le Il Matto a plusieurs éléments pour être un restaurant italien digne des prix exigés: employés dévoués, belle carte des vins, belle salle à manger.

Toutefois, j'ai eu l'impression qu'on me prenait pour un touriste & que le restaurant était sur le'cruise control': ambiance sur le neutre, un menu offrant très majoritairement des plats traditionnels, des présentations minimalistes & un extra $$$ pour quelque chose qui n'avait pas été demandée.
Pour ma prochaine visite dans un restaurant italien de Québec, je donnerai la chance à une autre adresse. Des idées de restaurants?🤔
