Our waiter, Simon, was just the best. My friend wanted a lemon drop cocktail. He looked up the recipe on the internet & made it so well, she got another. He recommended a delicious appetizer & helped us with our wine selection. All of us really enjoyed our entrees & desserts. But, Simon's fun & friendly personality is what made this a truly memorable experience.

The service experience from the start was flawless. Upon making my reservation, I mentioned that my wife is pregnant, in passing, but also that we would be out for her birthday. I forgot I mentioned these things, but the service team at Matto did not. They ensured some nice mocktail options were available to her. Service was on time & careful. They also included a small birthday surprise for dessert, without me having to ask anything. Completely unexpected & amazing!

The food experience was also well above par. From bread & oil/balsamic to dessert. Everything was incredibly crafted. Each bite, a celebration. We don't eat out often, but I'm thrilled that I chose Matto for this special evening.

Great food...excellent service. It was the first place we ate at that acknowledged the note I left with our booking that we were celebrating our anniversary. They brought us a complimentary dessert & made a big enough deal out if it to make the dinner feel extra special. We would highly recommend. Great experience.
